Listen Zidane is my favorite player ever, but he was not perfect lol. A lot of the comments here are trying to defend and “understand” what he was trying to do. It was beautiful technique and a laser, but it was just a difficult ball for either of his teammates to get to. Cisses momentum was going the other way so he really couldn’t do much with the way the ball was sent in. You could argue the second player in the box (can’t tell but is it trezeguet?) might get a head on it but I think 2 Mexican players could have got a header to clear it. The way he sent the pass in wasn’t the best, a cross probably would have been better but the ping he sent it was 😮💨. Beautiful lol
