Was recently my birthday, and these are the things I purchased as a gift to myself. #zippo #lighter #zippomafia #disney #donaldsuck #gladiator #knife #tapemeasure #mosler #bassett #salesmansample
Thank you for commenting as well. That's what I did when I started out collecting lighters again. I check out a lot of antique malls and second-hand stores often. Usually find some good deals and sales.
Thank you. Also, thank you for commenting and subscribing. Have you checked out the Facebook group, Zippos Across the Pond? I believe a lot of the members are from the UK as well. If your interested in collecting Zippos.
Thank you. Have been collecting for a few years since I was a younger man. Always on the lookout for something new or different for the collection. Thank you also for commenting and subscribing.
Can you tell me if there's any sort of copyright date on that paperwork for that multipurpose lighter? I'm trying to narrow down when these various secondary Zippo items were made and it's obviously tough since none of them bear any sort of dating marks. Ok, so it's an image of Donald Duck. Which make sense given that it's in white instead of black like Daffy Duck. It just so reminded me of a cross between Daffy Duck "Duck Dodgers" and Marvin the Martian.
Just checked the paperwork. No date anywhere. I have a few books on Zippos with another coming in the mail that deals with Zippo items that aren't lighters. Maybe there will be something in there? Will let you know if I discover anything. Yes, it does remind me of Marvin the Martian's costume.
@@zippolyonsden1623 Appreciate it. I'm sure there are old Zippo catalogs that will also contain some of this info, but I'm just trying to gather as much info from all possible sources.

Fully understand that. Even Zippo themselves get their own history messed up sometimes which makes things difficult for us collectors to figure out at times.
Mosler was out of Ohio, not Wisconsin. Oh well, it was cheap, lol. Bassett is a Wisconsin company, though 🙂.
Happy birthday! That double knife is awesome.
Thank you very much. I think it looks cool as well.
Thanks for sharing, im going to try to buy one item per month for my collection
