I like smiles Maybe it's kirito being arrogant and wanting to challenge the hero of time himself (he's the one to start the fight as he's the first to draw his weapon). After all, many players in video games like to get in fights with powerful enemies for glory, fun, etc.

The two endings thing was an awesome idea on your part so props to you!
Although, I personally think that Kirito would win by a hair, not only is he faster than Link but, Sword Skills, on top of that, the Master Sword can only kill beings of pure evil whilst Kirito's swords can kill anyone and anything, there's another reason, swordS.
I agree Kirito MIGHT kill Link but I don't agree that Link's Master Sword can't kill Kirito.

Link in my experience would win. He could just shield bash kirito from his attack when its like in close combat, plus skyward strike, tons of bombs and arrows, a boomerang, clawshot/hookshot, his dodging skills and other swordsmen skills like side jumping, backflips, and jumpslash, downward strike, and his famous spinattack. People just don't really remember zelda as much as i do and its normal that people forgot most of link's info.
