INFO:
Elucidator is a pitch black sword with trims of gray and is evenly balanced and quite powerful. It has a black hilt connected to a hand guard that drops down on the right side. Attached to this elongated area of the hand-guard is part of Elucidator's blade so as to better aid the user in retaining their grip on the sword when it is being used. The blade is completely black like the rest of the sword and the said blade is outlined in a light gray. In the design art by the illustrator of the novels, a small cross is emblazoned on the flat of the blade, just beneath the tip.

I would call it a half-and-a-half sword, actually. Able to be used one-handed, but more powerful and accurate when there's a little extra leverage from a second hand. Supposedly Kirito is one of only a few players with a high enough strength stat to wield it effectively at his level single-handedly.

@Weikun Zheng In the light novel, any sword can be used with 2 handed sword skills provided the handle has enough space for two hands, so it being used with two hands here makes more sense "in canon" than you probably think. Kirito has used Cyclone (a 2 handed sword skill) with another sword that's identical in proportions to the elucidator (his night sky sword in underworld).
@Weikun Zheng What I just said isn't really mentioned in the anime, but funnily enough this is the light novel version of Elucidator (you can tell because of the gross at the end of the blade) so it makes sense. Also, I say identical proportions because (another thing that was cut out from the anime) Kirito requested the dimensions of the sword to be identical to the Elucidator because of his fondness for it.

@@foxmarine4534 it is abridge but there the anime is not just based on people stuck inside of a VR world. There are other parts of the story and season 3 and 4 is the best one yet even if it takes a while to understand. SAO is still a pretty good anime and people are just hating it because it keeps on jumping back and fourth on different scenes but there are other animes that are way worse that do the same thing so the hate is totally not necessary. You should totally try to watch the anime. I recommend it.
