Does Module/Texture details lower fps ? and same goes for Texture filtering mode , i have it on bilinear
Yeah the model/texture will if you have it on high but medium-low there should be close to no difference so just go with medium. But just copy my settings those are the best

most of these launch options are useless and dont work anymore
no they all work?, The autoexec work just fine, -threads 7 works, +fps max 0 works, -allow_third_party_software is for faceit anticheat and -w1280 -h960 is for my resolution because it doesn't save ingame
@@CS2HUB. You dont need allow third party software anymore for faceit anticheat works just fine without it. The rest, well you dont really need them unless in your example res doesnt save. But autoexec and fps max you can always change ingame or fps max you can put it in your autoexec

People PLEASE learn what these setting do. He has anisotropic filtering disabled in nvidia settings but puts it at 16x in game (so it does absolutely nothing). Also it makes the game look like shit with ZERO performance increase on 99% of modern GPUs. Do not just trust a random guy who makes a video on the internet. Yet another BS guide. Also setting your GPU to "prefer max performance" can negatively affect your performance in many cases because the GPU stays at max clocks at all times. Modern GPUs are VERY efficient in how they handle power and this only makes it run hotter without any benefits (in most cases). Try it yourself and you will see.
My bad on the anisotropic filtering, but it does not make a difference in game, i have tested the settings and the settings in game override the settings in NVIDIA control panel for some reason. This guide is for the max fps in cs2 and therefore i choose to set GPU to "Prefer max performance" cus alot of people have older gpu's and it wont make a difference outside of cs2. This guide is only for maxing out FPS in cs2, but i see its my bad on the anisotropic filtering i should have set it to application-controlled
@@CS2HUB. I was talking in cs too. Prefer max performance usually does not give you more performance but less. My friend optimizes and benchmarks PCs for a living and I have also been doing it for 20+ years so I just hate bad advice without any benchmark results on the video.
@@kennaee Mate, since you know all the best settings i guess you are looking around on optimization videos just to see who are giving bad advice haha? I see an amazing opportunity here to actually do a no-BS video, maybe called "OPTIMIZE CS2 FOR LOW END PC". You would be the GOD!
@@ianmarne4927 the thing is, there are no magic tweaks to make a low end computer run CS2 smoothly. Even on a high end machine it takes some tinkering to get smooth frametimes.
All you can really do is overclock your ram, cpu and GPU. Optimize your windows for low DPC latency (and latency overall) by disabling stuff like C-states (if you have 8+ cores, if less you need to test), SAM, SMT etc. in bios and making sure you have all background stuff in order. After that it's just about your cs2 settings and hardware performance.
Most people are CPU bottlenecked on CS2 thus making all you do in nvidia control panel meaningless. I have benchmarked nvidia control panel settings multiple times and always came to the same conclusion: they do not change my performance at all.
