    great to adapt a car roll over jig, so can weld all in one position by rotating, less lifting

    I guess this would work if you are building a bunch of panels the same size but that’s it because all spacing differs a bit depending on the length of the rail

    Awesome Jig!! Would love to know the different spacing you chose.

      3-3/4" between balusters. Common baluster sizes: 1/2", 5/8", 3/4"
      Center to center distances on my jig are 4-1/4", 4-3/8", and 4-1/2" accordingly

    How do you do stairs at an angle? Is there enough to angle the balusters in the jig?

    • @accentironwork
      @accentironwork  Před 3 lety

      The bottom "rake" can be unscrew from the holder/quide, and slide left or right to skew railing panel. Notches for balusters are wide enough to make stair railing up to 39°. However, I prefer to make railings for stairs on my other table, because using the same jig will make smaller baluster's spacing from the rest of the panels

      @jfuqua72 Před 3 lety

      @@accentironwork That makes sense. Do you have a video of the other table for making stair railings?

    • @accentironwork
      @accentironwork  Před 3 lety

      @@jfuqua72 I do it on the flat table. I make CAD drawing and go by diagonals control dimensions instead of an angle. That way it is more precise, especially if the stair panel is long.
