      It's crossed energy and information flow in the nervous system , a boxer will KO easley if he is hit in the jaw with his arms crossed... as in he has his left hand to the right side and his right hand to the left and gets hit on any or all of st 6, 4, 7 or 3.
      This stuff will effectively Ko people if the correct points are hit as the brain cannot cope with the situation that it recived and so causes it to temporarily shut you down to protect you.

    I just want to thank George Dillman for a minute here. I had a bully at my school a couple of weeks ago who kept picking on me. Eventually he had me pinned up against the wall in the bathrooms, and I felt defenseless. Until I remembered what Sensei Dillman had taught me and countless others. I took my knuckle, drove it into the pressure point in my bully's jaw and it worked!!!
    It worked for about a second, then he looked at me with a smirk as if too say "Really?" and proceeded to kick the shit out of me until the bell rang for our 5th hour classes. After a kid found me in the bathroom, the school called for an ambulance and I got rushed to hospital, after they performed a bunch of tests and I had been at the hospital for a while, I was informed I have stage 2 Stomach Cancer. So thanks Sensei, without you, I wouldn't have known about my cancer. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to try and find the pressure point that gets rid of tumors.

No one has ever detected these energy, chi or whatever you want to call them, meridians. The reason you can't is because they're a load of made up crap. How do you know they're there? Oh, because my master says so and it's been passed down through the ages. Morons actually believe this? What a joke. This doesn't work on skeptical people though. An honest evaluation says that if it doesn't work in all situations, then you drop it. Bruce Lee even said that. Use what works.
      If this doesn't work on skeptical people, then it doesn't work in all situations.
      I would suggest if you have any brazilian jiu jitsu clubs in your area, you go check them out. It's tough, but it will change your life.

    • @rcchristian2
      @rcchristian2 Před 9 lety +3

      Pinkaugust YOU SAID"To be fair, a technique you've practiced a lot may not always work on everybody"
      I personally don't practice those techniques. And because I am constantly sparring others in real time, you find out what works right away.
      Demonstrations are only good to demonstrate. You then need to spar in real live situations where you test your art. You will then find techniques that work and ones that don't.
      Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an art that leads you down a path. So it doesn't matter how you react, the doors slowly close until you either tap out or go to sleep.
      It doesn't matter your body size, if you're male or female, if you're strong or weak. If you bring someone down a road and only leave windows that they can climb in, there is only one pathway down the road.
      A good example is this.
      If I take you down to the ground, it doesn't matter really how I get there or if you're on top.
      If you're on top, I look for the sweep or submission from the bottom, through strikes, triangles, armbars or sweeps. If I sweep you, I pass the guard, go to 1/4 guard, then to side mount and then to mount.
      A few slaps to the face and if you turn your back I have back mount and we go for the choke.
      That is a one way street... that works on anyone and everyone. If someone reacts differently it doesn't much matter, it only delays the inevitable. If my Jiu Jitsu is good enough, it's a one way street.

    • @rcchristian2
      @rcchristian2 Před 9 lety

      Pinkaugust I think it's a bit of both, but we definitely see things from different perspectives.
      YOU SAID"Sparring only tells you what YOU are good at doing, it doesn't tell you that you can with absolute certainty always use the moves you're good at or that everyone will fall for the same tricks."
      Sparring tells me what works. It shows me what I will need to do against a larger opponent or a smaller opponent, or a stronger opponent. I don't use pressure points, I use submission and strikes.
      So for me sparring is the number one thing that shows me that what I'm doing actually works against someone I don't know.

    This and joint manipulation are secrets of the trade for ‘life threatening’ self defence training. In reality, a weapon (eg, taser, pepper spray or sensory overload device) is required for most life threatening situations where the attacker is much larger/stronger. But to be able to free yourself from being constrained to use such weapons, discourage the attacker or fight back is the first and most important step, you may not incapacitate or subdue the attacker with purely hand to hand self defence techniques but the idea is to buy time or opportunity to flee or call for help any continued advancement by the attacker is going to require more aggressive, offensive measures.
