Such an amazing player, he has an awesome grasp of the fretboard..
I always learn something new when I watch a Dweezil video. 🤘🤘🤘

Fretboard patterns like that helps keep the listener interested in the music and or draws their attention back to the music as they get refocused and start listening again . Thanks for sharing .

Dweezil emphasizes string pairs and string shapes in almost all his lessons .. which include finger stretching exercises tonalities ear training etc .. each to get outside the 4 fret box .. but the Genius is The Approach Concept .. synchronizing your visualization, ear, fingers and picking with the freedoms while unlocking the entire fret board

This s pure gold - I mean your tutorials - I recently as if I needed a reminder, but seldom do, heard Sheik back to back - the 'yo mama' lead is a perfect example why there is not a single player as non repetitive as FZ. Dweezil certainly carries that torch proudly and in some areas has surpassed his Dad. Kudos

I could never afford Dweezil Zappa to teach me guitar lessons, but I sorely wish I could. That's yet another jaw-dropping short lesson from him, I'm so impressed.

Dweezil, I'm from Baltimore, you dad's home town (but you knew that). Loved him! Good lesson, but maybe a little too advanced for me. Just starting to learn all the pentatonic scales. You look great! Keep up the great work!

Irrelevant comment, but back in the 90's, I remember Dweezil starred in a sitcom with his sister, which I actually quite enjoyed. I was a little sadden that it ended so early.

I recognize the opening riff. Taken from Randy Rhoads live solo on Suicide Solution, off the Tribute album?
