Mexican't team also played poorly in this world cup 1978. 3 games played 3 games lost. They finished last place in the tournament as the worst team. The previous world cup, the mexican't team didn't qualify for the world cup in 1974. On the next world cup in 1982, the mexican't team didn't qualify for the world cup either. In 1990, the mexican't team were banned from competing in that world cup for sending overaged players in a under 20 world cup team as a host nation. All this happened while having a professional league which is really embarrassing if you ask me.
@riskamathamayagarcia2113The players are also responsible knowing full well that they were breaking the Fifa rules in the under 20 world cup for being over aged. If you are a cheater you should be ashamed of yourself for not making it fair for the rest of the nations.
@@TrancymindDe que jodidos hablas? Nigeria falsifica actas de nacimiento todo el tiempo y lleva jugadores mayores al Mundial U-20 no pienses que México fue el único que hizo eso, hay países que hacen peores cosas y no los sancionan porque hay mucha mafia dentro de la FIFA.
En cuanto a este mundial de 1978, México venía de ser campeón de los Juegos Panamericanos de 1975 y campeón de la Copa Oro 1977, por esa razón apostaron por esta selección que era muy joven, ningún jugador rebasaba los 24 años de edad y pensaron que podían hacer cosas grandes en esta Copa del Mundo, pero lamentablemente su mala experiencia hizo que perdieran todos los juegos, pero no jugaron mal, solo eran jóvenes inexpertos... Primero infórmate!! 😏
