- Love divine, all loves excelling is one of Wesley's greatest hymns. The hymn is really a prayer -- a prayer to Jesus, who is"Love Divine, All Loves Excelling." It invites Jesus to make his dwelling in us -- to visit us with his salvation -- to enter our hearts.
This is a second of this beautiful hymn. This is as well beautifully arranged and delivered. The descant.

Another Welsh hymn tune masterpiece by the great William Penfro Rowlands. The Welsh really knew how to write amazing tunes. So sweet, and the way it just rolls along. The brief tension which is immediately resolved. It’s so masterful.
I love the rendition! The descant especially!
