Blackcurrant was banned in america because it carried a blight that threatened the logging industry. Its only recently been allowed to be grown in some states thats why you dont have it over there. Awesome video x

Someone needs to send him Marmite. Even here, opinions are split pretty much 50/50 between the love it and hate it camp. But in my opinion you can't beat it on hot buttered toast...

Blackcurrant was banned in the isa cos it had a certain disease so in the jsa they wiped out the blackcurrant plant. That disease no longer exists. So they have started to replant blackcurrants again but its a rare plant. Blackcurrant seems to be polarised in tbe isa youclove it or hate it from watching other peoples videos

Ideas: do a DNA test & see how much British Isles genes you have. Try Duolingo Welsh & learn to say a couple of things to your Wales people in our language 🙂✌️

Ancestry is the best, some are a con.
Ancestry is the best for finding out specifically if you are Welsh, Scottish or Irish and what specific counties within those countries you belong to. Other DNA sites just put Welsh, Scottish, Irish (and those that do Cornwall, which is very little) together; and although in some cases you can call them cousin countries the DNA's of these people are completely different.

I can't believe nobody sent you actual tea. My husband is british and I am American, so I bought twining for him when I met him in the US years and years ago and he was horrified. It is not the same thing as the stuff they sell here. they sell their lesser quality tea in the US. they even say this right out in public at their museum in London. Not embarrassed a bit. So I guess I will send you some Twinings. I hope some other people send you some other UK brands. and a kettle.

I think the Welsh dragon is a great idea. But could I also suggest the shamrock (for Ireland), the thistle (for Scotland) and the rose for (England). Thus representing all of the UK. Iechyd da.

PARTY RINGS! You got PARTY RINGS! They are the best! Put one icing-side down on your tongue and suck on it to get the icing to start to melt. And the Fox's Creams range are gorgeous - I've been eating some Golden Crunch Creams while I've been watching, but if there's some ginger Crunch creams in there, they are so lovely - and you definitely need a cup of tea to dip them in! But don't dip each biscuit for very long, otherwise they will go extremely soggy, fall into your tea and you'll end up with a load of sloppy mush in the bottom of your mug. I'll try and send you a Sheffield mug soon as well.
It's great watching your videos because you're just such a nice, happy, positive and just generally lovely bloke who's so grateful for everything. Yeah I agree about the McVities, although I dunk just about any biscuit in tea, digestives, custard creams, jammy dodgers, you name it. I used to love Mcvities Royal Scot biscuits, years ago. I don't think they make them anymore, I can't get them in my area at least.

When you do a British snacks video, get some crumpets to put the blackcurrant jam on, toast it like you would a normal slice of bread and put plenty of butter on, then the jam on top! It’s an upgrade from normal toast, but toast is good too.
