      Zaki, do you have any idea about this error on a OBD2 scanner; 90b387
      Electric heater booster 1 has a
      malfunction. The message is
      missing. Or do you have any tips??

    Did feel any different between Mann vs original MB?

    • @ZakiGarage
      @ZakiGarage  Před 2 lety

      Didn't feel a difference. They are both the same thing, original MB filters are made by Mann.

    • @ZakiGarage
      @ZakiGarage  Před 4 lety +1

      The genuine Mercedes filter from my dealership used to be 48$, The Mann filter I got from amazon was for 21$.

    They should have just added an access door on that panel to make it easier to remove. Good video though.

    What is the Cable on the left side?
    An temperature sensor for the AC?

    • @ZakiGarage

      yep, its a temperature sensor

    • @thebamplayer
      @thebamplayer Před 3 lety

      In my W204 the temperature sensor is over the rear mirror.

      I had great experience with Mann filters on my BMW, but on the Mercedes both the old original filter and the Mann filter seem to have an unpleasant smell, might try a different brand next time. To add on, some Mercedes original filters are actually made by Mann.

      Zaki Garage Yeah I feel like the location also has a lot to do with it. I preferred the setup on the W211.

      @ZakiGarage  Před 4 lety

      Thanks @@ChrisHimself1357 , I wasn't aware of those I'll give them a try. But I don't think its a mold problem, its the smell of the plastic itself coz even the new filter has the smell.

    There is a special place in hell for the engineers designed this system. They have to replace the filters all the time, and the white slide lock do not fit all the time.

  • @moozeeck5417
    @moozeeck5417 Před 4 lety +1

    Why is in every car cabin filter so inaccessible? That is changed frequently and it should be obvious and easy to change, not so complicated.

    • @ZakiGarage
      @ZakiGarage  Před 4 lety

      Agree with you, other manufactures make it easy unlike Mercedes on this car.

  • @emreakin8861

    It is sure that the ventilation system is designed by an idiot, not an engineer. Otherwise it should have been much more practical..

    I'm beginning to see why it costs am arm and a leg to service these vehicles. Imagine going through all of that just to change an in-cabin microfilter!
