Capped modes are key to the 'progression' aspect of the game, surely they wouldn't remove that. It would tank lower tier cards to near useless (of course new competitions would replace, but unsure how they do this better). I'm also confident they wouldn't remove threshold from fear of losing too many managers and Niklas said SoRare was in a great financial position after all.

Threshold is not the problem, it was the solution. The problem is the number of rewards that is too high and it's destroying the price of the other cards. Now Threshold are pretty hard to reach with cap 240 and remove liquidity from Sorare will destroy the market. The cash only prizes of Premier league tournament shows clearly that the liquidity affect the market
Sorare would lose many players if it got rid of the cap as most people do not have the funds to compete for cards every week and the cap modes are the only way the average player can really see true progression so taking that away would be sorare shooting themselves in the foot
I think they would be silly to remove the cap thresholds if they are trying to onboard people heavily. It is a sure way to put people off who are looking to dip a toe in. Only a small percentage of people would ever go balls deep into something without testing it first. If you test the game before learning to play and without ploughing in a big sum of money you won't stand a chance against all the people already playing. As it is an easier time than ever to join (because of the low prices etc) I would say they are best off giving people time to get hooked before thinking about pulling out of the thresholds. Unless they find a way to create different competitions for people with different gallery values there needs to be something that gives people starting out some hope they can win something.
Remove the TH, hard but ok if they have the solution to give Mid to bottom Tier Teams a place in this game. Even tho some Creators are talking about completly removing the Cap Divisions, they seem like the only way to give low cost cards a value. Maybe create a cap 200 Competition and only give out T3 to Stars so you have a way of progressing. Rewarding the money in all of the Competitions is really just rewarding the people who invested alot and Sorare shows that they want to target a wider Playerbase and not just Sharks and Whales. They should at least contribute some of the money to the lower prices, maybe give some of it into All Star so that more people can get some bucks. Anyway its a really tough discussion and all of the changes have positive and negative impacts

It´s amazing how these guys are so out of touch, they can´t see that. The threshold is holding the users, and the prices that they make on auctions.

The "threshold" is the only thing sustaining the whole game, if it is removed the whole market crashes. Most people will be out, because most people can´t get the "big prizes". Sorare won´t make money, it will go broke. The threshold holds the prices of the cards, from which they make money in auctions, so they are not "giving it away", they are holding the value of the cards they sell. They should increase the prize actually. Also changing the prizes (decreasing) is terrible because people need predictability, you will need to be crazy to make an investment in a platform that is always changing the rules. I will be out if there is no threshold, it will make no financial sense to stay.
Really enjoyed this video, don't think they will remove thresholds but a balance I could see, however they have just done that by removing card rewards. Not sure how much of an effect a crypto bull run will be on Sorare this time around. Rivals is the key to onboarding I personally don't get why there is a paid bonus in that game mode and it needs removed. + 3 smashing stacks great choices!
