Tannahill Weavers gave thanks to Colin Melville, for his 13 year service to the band and his live feed from Australia on the night, Angus Nicolson, Iain MacInnes, Duncan Nicholson, Kenny Forsyth, and the band's current piper Lorne MacDougall for piecing it all together. On bouzouki Ross Kennedy, and on percussion Gordie Duncan, son of the late Gordon Duncan who also played pipes with the Tannies. Making up the rest of line-up on the night were permanent members Phil Smillie on flute and vocals, John Martin on fiddle and vocals, and the man that glues it all together on stage Roy Gullane on guitar and vocals. - Hudba

I saw them in the early 1980's at a festival on Whidbey Island, WA. Amazing band!!! Have been a big fan ever since!!!
Memories of my youth….great musicians
Saw them in the 70s - brilliant music then and just as good today - real stirring stuff - you can't beat the pipes!
Thank ye all🏴🏴✌️✌️
😍 Kenny Forsyth 😍
I've seen the Weavers many, many times... miss the bass in this tune especially.
Thank you to Ciaran who led me to the Tannahill Weavers. They are brilliant!
Loved it in 1979 on "The Tannahill Weavers", and love it still !
Familiar with Tannahill Weaver's and Dougie MacLean. First time I've heard Gordon Duncan. Learning new music all the time!
I saw them in the early 90's - they were awesome then and just as awesome, now! 💪🦁🍻🌞
Looking fwd to seeing the Tannahill Weavers for the 1st time...
I need to get back on my pipes.
Wonderful
Hell Yeah!!
A wonderful band, first saw them at folk club in Ashington in the 70s, but with greatest of respect surely one piper is enough - it is not as if they are off to war I hope
Tannahill are performing at Piping Live, where nearly every person in the audience is a piper. To pipers, there can never be enough pipers. 😊 Well done!
Saw them in Villingen ( Schwarzwald-blackforest )!! Brilliant!
The Best
saw these guys live in Hitchin Hertfordshire, years before anybody had ever heard of them
Yes !. I recorded years ago with the Cambridge City Jass Band, For “Plant Life Records” who were based in Hitchin. The Tannahills, were I belive On the third LP Plant Life issued. There’s a fantastic version of “The Geese In The Bog” on it !. Greetings From St John’s Town Of Dalry.

I've see the Tannahill Weavers in the 80's in Würzburg. It smelled of beer and cigaretts. Everyone was very impressed and later quite drunk!
Greetings from Germany
An army of fine musicians ,,,,'gien it lalldy,,,,,,,,
Awesome 🍀
My uncle is playing😁
I was a friend of Roy when John cassidy was in the band.
Great music as always. Up until the end however I was convinced the audience had died.
They were just bagpiped out.
Sound more Irish to me or Catalan?
What kind of instrument is Roy playing?
I apologize for not knowing who's who but if Roy is the one playing flute at the beginning and switches to the hand drum, it's called a bodhran and it's an Irish war drum. (Pronounced boran) otherwise I'm sorry if that didn't help.
Go hiontach ar fad
You should be a non smoker, if you want to play the scottish bagpipes. Because you have to blow the air into the airbag, as you can see here.
What a cacophony and what are those strange bags that are being blown into ?
