- Are Baja Designs driving lights the best, or is there more to the offroad lighting industry? What's the best deal in the offroad light world, and do driving light offerings from brands like Auxito, COLIGHT, and Auxbeam stand a chance against Baja Designs?

Awesome video. This helped a lot. I was looking at budget lights for my 2000 tundra. Glad I found your video!!!!
Awesome! I’m glad the video helped!
I live and travel in sketchy areas, so any of the high dollar lights are off the table for me, can't risk it. I have tried a bunch of different lower price Chinese lights. Ive found that I lean less toward performance, and more towards longevity. The issues I find with the cheaper lights is moisture, and lense/case degradation. doesn't matter how bright they are if they die on me in a year. Ive had a lot of luck with the Mictuning, Colight, and BigLion brands.
Totally! Good “specs” are useless if your lights are filling up with water and burning out! Thanks for sharing your experience, I’ve not heard of BigLion before.
Great test and love the information you provided which IMO validated your test and results.
I have had my LED Colights for a couple years and I have been extremely happy with them. They are not only budget friendly but their performance has been nothing short of amazing. Their customer service isn't bad either since I had one flush mount light that was bad out of the box and they resolved it pretty quick.
I did a review video of my led Colights last year as well.
Great video.
Thank you!
Ya man. The Colights are a surprising winner but they sure perform good. I love them too!
Great video man! I can tell you put a lot of work into this one. Keep it up.
Thank you! That means alot, knowing and seeing the incredible work that you do!
Thanks for the content! Very thorough!
Also that’s a dope hoodie

LIGHTS - Thanks for the time and energy you put into your videos.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video
the Auxbeam's LEDs not consuming as much doesn't mean the LEDs are bad, that is 100% due to the driver not giving enough power
the only way to figure out True efficiency is actually measuring the Lumens / watt, it consumes less thus puts out less light, that doesn't make it inefficient, if there's a light with the same optics, pattern etc and puts out less light at the same power consumption it is less effficient, i think it was pretty good at how little it consumed.
I've had my silver '01 AC TRD for 13 years almost bone stock. Looking to finally upgrade the LIGHTS. Love the channel.
Thank you! Good luck with the giveaway!
Loved your analysis of these LIGHTS man. Also stoked you’re a fellow flatlander!
Thanks! I appreciate it. Haha, not a flatlander, but I spent 4 years out in the midwest for school
I just loop us 1Aers into the flatland 😂
LIGHTS! Great review on these. Look forward to getting a set for my tundra soon so these reviews help! Thnak you
Thank you! Good luck with the giveaway!
What a great video!
Thank you!
Love the vid! As an engineer, the technical explanation is icing on the cake!
I have always been a light bar guy but recently I have been looking at some 7in round lights because they just look so good and love the benefit of being able to individually aim the lights.
Looking at the same Colight and some Nilight.
Thanks! Haha I am an engineer as well. The COLIGHTs performed great!
@@208Tyler dude, that is awesome!
LIGHTS - Looking forward for more of these content, really good production man!!!
Thank you! I really appreciate it, and good luck on the giveaway!
LIGHTS. Thanks for the great review!
You bet!
LIGHTS! Thanks for the thorough video and good testing comparisons!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
LIGHTS - Great review. I have some diode dynamics and look ok, I added the colights on pilars and the put a lot of light and really impressed. Another great test will be to see how they behave after 10 or 20 minutes, most of them will dim due to heat.
Thank you! Really? It had never occurred to me that they might dim in that short of a time frame. Hmmm.
I’ve been needing some Flood/Ditch LIGHTS for my LX470! I would love to win these LIGHTS! Thanks for the in depth review Tyler! 2UZFE gang!
Awesome! Good luck with the giveaway! Thanks for commenting
LIGHTS. Keep up the wonderful Tundra media
Thank you! You just missed the giveaway, but if the first person doesn't respond I'll throw your hat in the ring!
LIGHTS. Excellent review and comparison
Thank you! Best of luck with the giveaway
I have the Biglion 7in spots on my 4runner and for $100 for the pair I couldn’t be happier they’re super bright and after a year no bulbs out and no moisture
Good to know! Thanks for sharing.
LIGHTS. Great video! Very informative!
I appreciate it! Good luck with the giveaway
LIGHTS!!! Great video. Keep it up.
Thanks man!
LIGHTS. let’s goooo love ur stuff
Thank you!
Great informative video, but any reason not going with a bigger baja design lights? price aside, I feel like its not really fair to put a 3 inch baja pod against gigantic 7-9inch lights.
Ya, I'm not putting price aside though. I'm not interested in spending $400-800 for a pair of lights. Especially if I can get the performance that I'm getting out of my COLIGHTs at $200.
@@208Tyler have you considered auxbeam 360 pro driving lights? I have great experience with them and the price is also budget friendly. Just saying giving the drastic size difference, it's kind of a given for baja to be not as bright. Also, Harbor Freight just came out with their new Roadshock edge 6 lights at around $300 a pair and they did great in a comparison test I recently did even against the much expensive LP6s. I'd give that a look as well.
@4WDisLife I have not. These are the lights that auxbeam provided me with. Ya I get it, the small light is handicapped. I proved that the quality of the LED’s I better somewhat, but that still doesn’t mean I want to to pay the price tags that come with LP9’s. If these are the brightest for $200, that’s what I want
LIGHTS. Crazy how your video popped up on my feed!

Lights ! Let’s light it up!
The giveaway is over, but thanks for watching!
Nice video, to be fair the Auxbeam 360 ultra or pro should be a direct comparison instead if the one used.
According to Auxbeam’s website, those lights are in the $350+ lights. Currently, they’re marked down into the $250 range. If they’re always marked down to $250, then yes, that would’ve been another possible contender. But I also liked having something that spanned the gap in size between the BD and other lights
LIGHTS. Best FGT content out there!
Thank you sir!
LIGHTS So neat to see comparison and real life application side by side. Also do you do local pickup 😅
Thank you! Best of luck on the giveaway, and of course that can be arranged haha
@208Tyler all kidding aside, it was nice to find a local person's channel!
LIGHTS!
Hey, Tyler, who has good deal on oem parts?
Dealerships or places like toyotapartsdeal are trustworthy for genuine OEM parts, though maybe not a great deal.
Sometimes you can get the OEM manufacturer through Rockauto
Yes, oem@@208Tyler

LIGHTS. Let the scammers commence.
Haha
KC 👌
I would LOVE to get my hands on some KC lights and test. I've had that dream for a while, just can't justify to myself getting $500+ lights
@@208Tyler only lights you will ever use again. Lifetime warranty and the best you will ever use. $700 on a ditch light kit, the entire kit from start to finish on my 3rd Gen Tacoma.
But wait…. Which ones did you pick? Auxbeam?
The colights are now on my truck! Might keep the Baja Designs ones as well, but I do like the auxbeams!
@@208Tyler ah so you couldn’t decide lol
