- here we go again:) I have 3-4 murals in the next few months and honestly just didn't want to keep up with the long nail maintenance so I'm bringing back my series COAMNSWCGTBG aka Cutting All My Nails Off So We Can Grow Them Back Together - so I'll be sharing short nail art looks and updates / q&a's about what I do to grow and maintain healthy, long nails. 💅🏻🍅 For Tomato Nails: I don’t remember who I first saw these from but I believe it was someone on TT! And the combo of nail polishes is important - for a glossy tomato-esque finish, I used one coat of Left On Red ( a red creme) and then layered one coat of Razzle Red (a juicy pinky-red jelly) over top for the perfect tomato look.

@@amandas2986 You know..no body is born with long nail beds (except very lucky girlies)..u can also achieve long nail beds by constantly taking care and pushing back your cuticles...i have long nail beds on my left hand and short nail beds on my right hands because I don't push the cuticles of my right hand like ever😂😂..hope this helps

Girl, don’t worry- I’m right there with you. Almost cried today cause I’ve been trying to grow my nails out and I broke one… but then I remembered you cut your nails today (for some reason that just popped into my head), and I remembered that I can still enjoy having short nails if I do them the right way.
Because of you, I’ve realized that I actually really just like the color and the designs of nail art- the length honestly doesn’t matter all that much to me anymore. And my nail quality has been better than it ever, I was literally half way to your length at one point!! Never in the 30 years of my life, like girl… lol Really though, I’ma be a little bit real here for a second, over nails of all things ahaha, but… I like people to know they’ve made a difference in my life, even if it’s small. People have not been kind to me, and though you don’t know me, you’ve helped me- and I appreciate that!
I struggle with mental health and one of the things I got is OCD. I have a perfection complex along with strange rules for my beauty regimen that honestly make my life super hard cause I’m kinda high maintenance for someone who has a hard time getting out of bed sometimes lol. You remind me it’s not the end of the world if my nail breaks- I know that sounds really silly, but I have a compulsion to do certain things and if I have to deviate it makes me uncomfortable. You make short nails look awesome, so it helps that miswired part of my brain go, “OH- take note take notes take notes!!”😅

@@thegraytergood personally I prefer more a more rounded/squoval shape as I find when my nails are more square they get caught on stuff, not only does this annoy me I find it can cause my nails to break 😢 rounded for the win!

theyre technically still short she just has really beautiful long nail beds. its possible to grow yours out too. i would recommend dipping powder but i sometimes use press ons so i dont disturb the nail growth :))

Honestly, the only painful part was the nail clippers. Always so worried about them putting extra pressure on the nails and causing cracks or splits 😱
That’s why I was careful to make multiple cuts from each side - my nails are so curved that I had to be very slow and precise 🥲
i always use scissors if I cut my nails down a good bit and don't want to file it all. nail clippers scare me 😅

I have some tiny nail scissors✂️. took a while to learn cutting the nails on my right hand with my left 😅 but now I feel I have more control than with nail clippers ☺️
