- This is my first video, so there are many mistakes
It's not as amazing as I thought it would be. I'm just hoping Isami Amemiya himself doesn't find it disappointing if he finds the video lol.
I'm sleep deprived af rn so I might come back tomorrow with updates and extra details
If we can hit 100 subs I'd be very happy
Shoutout to anyone from FB

Really good video for a first try my brother. Pace was good, no filler material. Especially impressed by how much relevant and awesome footage you found.
Big potential from this channel
Thank you. I was just about to quit
The gran turismo music 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 that's just makes the video that much better.
I am a big tuna fan

@wasabiCars I see we have good taste
Im a fan of mussel carp myself.
No crust
Toonerr, 'cause I have a 'Murican accent.
I've known about this company and the man for many years. Would always see him at Tokyo Auto Salon. One day I was driving running errands and I unknowling passed by his shop in Tomisato. I had no idea it was there. At first I thought it was just another tuner shop. Upon closer look it was the legendary RE Amemiya shop. I had no idea all this time I was living less than 5km from his shop.
Would be very nice to hear more about early japanese street racing scene from you!
Love the Grand Turismo music in the background
This popped up in recommend! Great video, looking forward to seeing more 😁
I still have a 1988 yellow RE Amemiya sticker on my fc rx7,faded but but still visible....!
Great video, keep it up
Great video dude👍🏼
big fan of your articles on facebook. now that you're on youtube, i can listen to good content while working
Thank you, that’s exactly what these are made for
Also nice mustang (?) lol
@@Kaidopoet thank you. ill let my uncle know. its his car 🤣. the underrated gen 1970 models. keep up the amazing work ✊
Rad bit of insight into the THE Mazda man himself.
The creativity of these 80s style jdm
One of the biggest groups that I admire. All time. Came from the streets and tuning shops and now they are race professionals. Goes to show that anyone can do it
If this is actually your first video, very impressive, well done :)
I really enjoyed your video. Thank you, I've always been so excited to see Japan's automotive backstory.
These cars sound more like f1 cars than actual f1 cars
lol the sound was actually a scoot 4 rotor sped up, a car that wasn't in the video. But yeah, F1 doesn't sound like that anymore
What a video man! Sensational, full of information and the guy music in the background took me back to early 2000s 😌 thank you!
So glad I found your Facebook page a month or two ago! Can’t wait to see more videos
Impressive. Very nice.
Let's see Kaido's feet.

Great video, especially for a first! It's a fascinating world over in Japans Car Community so I'm happy you're there to report on it!
Congrats on your first CZcams video man! Looking forward to a lot more.

I used to watch your stuff in maths class lol
@@Kaidopoet for real. Wow. Did you ace math? How many offset related questions were on your math exams
@@RealWheelDeal nope lol, and 0 unfortunately. Wasn't doing class work. But I still managed to get into the right uni by transferring
Good video, not too long, not too short. And most importantly, it was on point the whole time.
Fantastic video and Documentary 🏆
Great video, I knew about the cars but not the man behind Amemiya. Thanks!
That was great from start to finish. The opening grabbed my soul, the music filled my heart with Nostalgia and the content was concise and interesting. I'm happy I found this channel.

What a pleasant video to watch!!
Good video! Can't wait to see more from ya!
Very nice work man. I'm a huge rotary fan, this video is just brilliant.
Thanks man
I can see that lol
I liked the music choices
Wow the guy really became a legend through sheer persistence
I’m one of the biggest re amemiya fans. Seeing this is eye candy. Tysm!
Loved it. Music selection is 10/10 . The opening was just the best ever.
Wouldn't mind watching a bit of those interviews in the video; that'd also help you with video lengh if you so desire.
Cheers from Argentina my dude 💯
That was awesome keep going !
absolutely brilliant!
As a rotary fan and previous owner of an FC and RX8 I appreciate this video. Rotaries get a lot of shade thrown at them. I honestly think they are not for everybody. I took care of my cars making sure they were fully warm before I turned it off even on short rides. I checked fluids every full tank of gas and drove them year round including Chicago winters. The only problem I had was with my RX8’s alternator going out twice and that’s not even a mechanical problem 🤷🏻♂️
All you need is a better mic, production is already excellent
good job for your first video. keep it up
great video nice work
I really appreciate the soundtrack of this video.
Great video
Great first video!
Thats the most epic intro ever. Gran turismo all the wayyyy
kudos to you mate upload more and with time you will improve
Great video.
Definitely the most interesting Lotus Europa I've ever seen 👍
Great first video
Hell yea! That was a great video.
Thanks!
I feared it was terrible
Nice documentary!
That honda today was a real beauty! Expert styling 👌🏻 💘
Japanese cars were never liked in the US, the changed their designs to approve US customers.
So they were never able to do good designs anymore, the fit for all designs....
Very nice video. 😊
Very nice video
Awsome, thank you.
Great video, and a lot of good information about someone I did not know about
First video!?
How many tries? lol
Good job, dude.
Good pace.
Good info.
thanks
this was basically my first try on this style of video (informative, with my voice in it). There was one other edit that I made to learn how to edit but apart from that, this was my first attempt

@@miamibeach40 hahaha that's the aim
god bless re amemiya, best rotary tuner out there
Very cool very nice 👍
I Love the Gran Turismo Track!!
I already knew this biography on best motoring so thx the video
What this video fails to mention, back in the 80’s there where three types of racing in Japan. Highway racing, drifting in the mountains and 0-400 (quarter mile) in the city streets..I used to drag race in Tokyo and Yokohama area in the early 80’s throughout the early 90’s.. crazy times in Japan back in them days! Used to race until sun came up, or morning traffic…
We still do that, Rally, Drag cars, Track racing, F1, do that with the 280 Z all,
Only Tokio Drifting is unique for Japan ! Style points needed ! jury ratings !
Great work! Hope one day I can have a RE 雨宮 300km/h meter... Wish the very best.
Thanks!
Tbh a fake one’s probably better nowadays lol
Gran Turismo OST👌👌👌
GrandTurismo music ❤️
The best Japanese rotary tuner? Yes and no, depending on who you ask. The most well known Japanese rotary tuner internationally? Yes. To me, I think Ama-san's team produce the best products and build the best Rx7's, but there are a handful of Japanese rotary tuners out there and are up to par with them such as R-Magic, FEED, Knight Sports, Panspeed, RS Active, Revolution, ERC, etc. Each founder have their own history as well. There are also a couple dozen shops out in the country side that don't get the exposure, but has been building amazing rotary machines for years. I had the pleasure of visiting RE Amemiya's main shop in Koto a few times, never been to their other shop in Chiba. Very humble guys, extremely passionate tuners.
Thanks for the headphone warning! Kidding, but that rotary scream came fresh from a podcast, gotta be careful with autoplay.
My introduction to Amemiya san was the Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero PS1 game. There was a small documentary movie you could watch and it showed a beautiful white Greddy Super 7 FD3S. I was hooked and later owned a FD3S because of it.
that last sentence was a bit of a stab in the gut bud
got a link to the video? lol
@@Kaidopoet sure homie 🤙

Wow. Thanks to this video I just realized that he was the guy sitting by the water in F&F Tokyo Drift when Han was training Shawn how to drift. And Han was driving an RX-7. Wow. Great video 🤟🏾🤟🏾

Interesting!
I was just watching a CarWow video where a bunch of Kei cars raced and thought an AZ-1 would be an awesome platform to stretch out a bit fitting a larger power plant in where the 64hp stock one sat. next thing I know I watch this video at 5:33 Re-Amemiya beat me to by 30yrs.
gran turismo and pokemon soundtracks … great taste!
subbed
Same
Wow, I knew nothing about this. The late 80s racers look amazing. I want to hear more about this since the 90s everyone and their mother knows about.
the 280 Z Datsun Cars were never loved in the US, by some only...
They needed to sell more cars, so they changed to the' fits for all ' designs ....
Watched this while using a RE Amemiya RX-7 on World Touring Cup Tokyo Expressway in GT7
🔥
He raced into his 70s.. smh what a guy

talking about that FD, it ain't no Yatabe car, just an ad facer FD
