    This is a great video. Thank you for these breakdowns they are really next level info. One question, what does Craig Kimbrel do to make his inefficient curve work? I know he pairs it with a rising fastball so it’s tough to hit with it’s late break. How does he make it move so well to make it so tough to hit?

      Good question! The answer: Velo, Velo, Velo - 85.4 mph (97th percentile CB velo) with league average horizontal break. It's thrown 6 mph harder than the league average curveball!

      @@drivelinebaseball I figured that would be the case. He’s probably my favorite relief pitcher of all time and I was so curious what made it break like that, it looks an awful lot like a slider but has the downward drop or a curveball sometimes. Thank you for these kinds of videos they are very informative and make the game so much more fun to watch!
