My favorite part of this project? Shockingly, it's the video quality. The crispness, the dramatic lighting, the cleanness of the Nate. Such an upgrade compared to any previous video.
Thanks so much!
Both me and Nate alway aim to be better on each episode, so really glad you enjoyed it!
Skill level turned up to 11.
The Nuernberg Unicorn is ridiculous. You recreating it in steel is even more ridiculous! And amazing. And horrifying. And wonderfull. And crazy. All in a good way. Love it. Wish I had the money to buy it and put it in my front yard 🤣
Amazing metal work. I love how the dinosaur seems to be laughing at its own joke!
This was an amazing build. You have come along as a blacksmith and a sculptor. The skies the limit for you! Nate, keep up the great projects and keep that videographer! You make a great team!
Haha I don’t think he’ll have a problem keeping me!
And thanks so much, I definitely think working together has worked super well so far, hopefully it just keeps getting bigger and better
As much as I want to get rid of him I think he's staying Hahaha naw I think we make a pretty great team!
Incredibly skillful and interesting to watch. A completely different than the usual knife making videos. Unbelievable that this channel has so few subscribers. I myself discovered this channel through Pilkinton's sales video.
Hello Nate and Aaron, what an absolutely awesome video. You two just get better and better with every video. The build, a very strange critter, but it had to be built and Nate is just the person to build it, part artist, part mad scientist. Who could ask for more? Regards, Dave
Read about you and your project in the newspaper here in Magdeburg today. Pretty neat. Bet my British husband will love to hear about this story haha
I swear, old paleontologists just didn't give two crabs for logic, did they? Love it .
Hahaha naw I recon they just had a few beers and had a bit of a laugh haha
A! MA! ZING!
Besides the breathtaking forging, I was most impressed by the sword handling at the end. Those have been some very decent Unterhaue. Nicely done, sir! 🙂
Another great piece. Waiting to see a museum come buy one from you, they should. Hats off to your editor again for the music. And despite the lack of help from your camera person, they are doing a great job with the camera.
Thanks! I’m glad you like the music, we always end up spending a lot of time finding stuff that works well with the epic ness of the project so nice when people enjoy it!
Yeah and I’m already filming and editing it, I can’t be doing the project for him too!
😅😮. It's crazy. Nate. So happy to see a new video. This project is really coming along. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Nate from one small blacksmith shop to another, I've gotta say how much I love your videos. Such a fantastic build and kudos on the video editing haha, keep them coming. 👍
I love watching the new videos! I find myself more and more waiting for the next upload
Glad you like them! Hopefully we can keep that feeling going haha
Such a creature. As always incredible skill! 🦖
Awesome. I really want one of the small ones. But I couldn't afford it. Lol.
I know it’s not quite the same, but the plan is to scan it so anyone can 3D print it at home! Just didn’t manage to sort it before the video release
@AaronWahab very cool. It's great work.
Majestic creature from the past
Yes Nate yes! This thing is amazing. Well done 💥👏❤⚡
Haha yeah I'm pretty happy with it! Thankyou!!
@@natesforge aye you ahould be, your dino work is outstanding
What do you use to lacquer your finished projects? I'm always stunned by the finish you achieve on them and how well the seem to last outside!!!
Well that was an enjoyable epic video. One question, why did you weld the ribs together in a solid fuel forge instead of the gasser? (and if Mr. Pilkington so small, I hate to think what you'd say about my 25lb Jardine slap hammer, mind you Jim Hirsoulis thinks they look like they belong on a watch chain so . . .)
For firewelding the tips it's just so much easier and cheaper than having the gas forge door open plus it was a nice day and I wanted to be outside haha, haha naw any powerhammer is cool! I think it was just struggling with the 50mm round bar and I am just wanting a bigger one for bigger projects. One day maybe
@@natesforge A friend of mine has a working 600 lb Niles Bement Pond steam hammer (that he actually has run on steam, but usualy on air.) It would have made short work of that 50mil bar . . .
I really don't have the creativity to make sculptures based on a model.😅
I dunno you just have to break it down into smaller and smaller bits and then put them together and all of a sudden you have a dumb dinosaur haha
Maybe make Scottish Thistle and donate to one of the towns in SCOTland 😃 your job is awsome man :D
Whatever you do.... never collab with Alec Steele. The only thing he will teach you is to make a project like this take several years and edited from part 1 to part 1000 ;) Thank you for making it one longer upload :D Awesome project!
Alec Steele "Look I made a Vice grip copy!" Nate-"NEED MORE DINOSAUR!!!"
I dunno I think it would be brilliant I'd have posted the finished dinosaur and he has made a toe then everyone will come to my channel to see it finished hahah
But yeah I do prefer a longer video but start to finish. Thankyou for the support!
Alway more dinosaur. Hahaha
Ah but now you made it, it exists for real. It's cannon 😁👍 The Palaeontologists can get on and study this beast. 🤪
It’s a rhinocopig 😃
Thats exactly what it is hahah
@@natesforge you’ve certainly got talent my man.
How do you design the pieces, or like how do you plan your steps and stuff that the end product looks soooo alike the "real" thing?
I think I just try to make the individual steps as small as possible and just get size references and then all of a sudden it just comes together! Haha
