Pigmen farm

Today I show you an amazing Pigmen farm. Per hour this produces 4000 gold nuggets with only 84 obsidian. This farm works in the overworld and uses a mechanic we recently discovered. It is so fast because we automatically break and light a netherportal this causes the portal to get randomticked and spawn a pigmen. This farm is scaleable.

Dude this whole design is awful and unnecessary. Plus it’s actually slower than just having a set of trapdoors and lava. It doesn’t even need to have stuff running across the middle either, that’s pointless because there’s no chance for it to light the portal, the only places that give it a chance are the bottom and sides of the portal.

The purpose of my design is to be lag friendlier then constantly updating lava like in the other versions. The speed of these farms are mostly limited by the time to break the portal so my 1. Design is faster than the video you showed and my 2. Design has the same speed

Flolan I get it. Although even on realms the lava didn’t seem to lag the world too much surprisingly. We have a lot that goes on there and it was interesting to see. And yeah the vid I linked definitely didn’t use a fast enough clock, however I believe I’m using one that might be faster than yours although I haven’t tested it. Rates is about 3 pigman a second, I haven’t completed testing
