- This video is a follow up to a previous full engine restoration video featuring an MGB GT Rubber Bumper Jubilee edition.
It came for an oil and filter change, re-torque the cylinder head, and cam timing check, and a few other things you will see in the video.

Great update and customer car care, little concerned about Sam,s hoodie straps and fanbelt😮
Thanks Steven, yes you're right my wife noticed it as well we will sort that for sure.. not until you see things played back you realise that could of been bad.
Awesome it was featured in a specialist magazine and you were mentioned, hope it brings some business to you. Good thing the prospective customers can see your work on this car too. Lol at the dog, handsome doggy.
Thanks George, yes it was nice of him to mention us, we enjoyed doing it
MGB great work as always
Thanks Russell
Lovely old school engine work, great stuff James

MGB, nice work again with the injector testing. It’s something I keep thinking about investing in to save me sending them away to be done.
Thanks mate.. there a great bit of kit.. I'll send you my contact if you want me too
@@graceenginedevelopments thanks mate, that would be great!

Lovely looking car, great work!
Thank you.
Think the jubilee cars were all brg with gold stripes.
These final cars in pewter look great.
Great work, interesting tip about the heat gun 👌
Yes your correct I made a mistake, thanks for watching
@@graceenginedevelopments really like your vids. Keep up the great work
@@davidgerrard8661 thanks David we will
Buddy looks like he’s owner I’ll tell my daughter Jessica it’s her dog 😂😂😂
Lol.. glad to see you watch it all.. he's definitely yours
Lmao.
What an awesome MGB! Beautiful car and made better by the engine upgrades. Classic styling that is so missing these days. Interesting choice of oil grade. Do you think 20W-50 is a bit too viscous?
Thanks John, mgb's are a beautiful looking car as most classics.. 20w 50 is a good oil for classics and was used in some models from std.
Another fantastic video. Quick question - what are the benefits of high zinc oil?
It's a natural lubricant and offers very good protection especially in classic flat tappet camshaft designs..
@@graceenginedevelopments Thanks for the reply. I'm due an oil change on my MGB so will use this type of oil. Thanks again.
@@kenmoffat617 your welcome

Thanks Pete

Thank you
Its a MGB GT LE - limited edition - not a Jubilee (they were green, with gold detailing). One of the last 520 produced at Abingdon before production ended.
Hi Marc, yes your right sorry about that. I'll edit the description
No worries! My Geek factor is high on these models (the LE’s). I think the Pewter colour actually sets off the black rubber bumpers quite well. Any idea what number this one was of that run? It was probably in the magazine article, but I missed it at the time…
I like the colour too. I have the magazine somewhere I'll have a look.. if you want the magazine let me know and if I can find it I'll send it to you
@@graceenginedevelopments well if you find it, that would be awesome!
