Thank you for finding and showing this bunker. I never dreamed of seeing one. I studied this RADAR unit when I first became interested in the uses and history. One of the reasons I learned German and repaired radio sets for collectors. I am curious about all the yellow piping, thought it might be a hand rail but you don't drill and run it through a wall. Some one was doing something to the place plus you really have to wonder what is in the blocked off area, maybe some of the equipment was left. Thanks again and stay safe out there.
How great to read William and some details there was a bit strange actually i think. There could be more then what meets the eyes there….Thanks and Merry X-mas William from us.
William Lovell I live close to a huge German radarstation, there’s a Wassermann Schwer site, which was later on in the war converted to a Klein Heidelberg radar. A few kilometers further there is a Wassermann MII site. If you ever plan to come to Holland I can show you around.

Wow , thank you very much for the kind Words Marilyn and appreciate Your comments and for watching.
That would be amazing to see it in operation. Too bad there are no movies showing it being used during the war. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Happy history hunting.
It must have been great to see it live yes. Merry X-mas to you my friend from us and keep smiling :)
That was just incredible, what a place! Really enjoyed following you this year, thank you,
And wish you and your family a very happy Christmas and New year, look forward to seeing you
In 2020. 🎄
Thank you so very much ad same to you Glenn :)
Man made forest it looks like , tree rows run straight in line both ways
it could be , i couldnt tell. Thanks
Good catch, I saw that too. There are no straight lines in nature. And the trees are similar in size as well.
Had to watch this one again. It's one of my favorites.
So glad to read that Susie :)
A fantastic war relic of the past! Thanks for taking us along! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Appreciated Brian and Greetings from us.
I actually love ur channel. It’s just true history that people nowadays forget so I’m glad people like u are doing something about it 🤘🏻

We thank you Casey for your incredible support and for watching ore of our videos. So appreciated my friend :)
Most people dream of going on vacation to Hawaii or a beach in Mexico Florida or somewhere like that, not me I dream of one day doing whatever I have to do to see a WWII German Bunker In person maybe even this one, this is one of the most fascinating and beautiful videos Iv ever seen. Thank you so much for this one WWII History Hunter this one was very special.
Greatly appreciated Lynda and we will present lots more in the future. Thanks
WW2HistoryHunter Your the a true Gentleman WWIIHunter
I would absolutely LOVE to go with you on these adventures! My family hails from Germany, my Great Grandfather having left Germany, with his family, my Grandmother was just 2-3 years old when they left, just a few years before WW2 broke out. Because of this, I have a real love for history, and WW2 history in specific. It's too bad you have to edit down the videos for CZcams length. I would love a full walk through of that bunker!
Thanks Reed and greetings from us.
It seems like there would be more signs of equipment being in this bunker. Very unusual to see the ventilation pipes still hanging on the ceiling. That was some heavy duty steel used to hold that antenna up. Very impressive as to how far out it could reach.
yes this is one of my top 10 places to visit Anthony. incredible structure it is.
Oh, wow. Oh, wow. This is incredible. This structure is INTENSE. The history is literally leaching from the pores of this bunker! What I wouldn't give to have seen it when it was in use! This is one of your very best, HH! Thank you so much for taking us with you! Now, on to the competition...!😄
Just what i said , it would have been impressive to see during those days. Thanks Cynthia and have a very Merry Xmas :)
Wow, what a treat seeing that great location! Thank you for going through the water to show us the base and foundation for the huge structure. Thank you also for the pictures illustrating the structure as it stood above the bunker. A great adventure dear HH history teacher! Appreciate all your efforts to make it come alive for us.
The Wassermann bunker is pretty much impressive in even the state it is today. Love sharing it with you and thanks Beverley :)
Looked like that round radar attachment point rotated the entire antenna array. Great video👍
That could be it. Thanks Andrew
Love watching this guy. Very fascinating, I'm into ww2 history and this has the most interesting videos
Thanks Conall
I bet that place was something in its heyday! You need a pair of water proof waders! I get in the water if you wanted to fantastic location ! Thank y’all ! Be careful! Be safe ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!
ok and thanks so much Mark for your ever so great support. Greetings from us.
I am going to have to go back and watch them all. Nice. Thanks again.
How great to read and thanks for that.
Another great video. Thank you for sharing with us. Merry Christmas Everyone 🇳🇿
Thanks so much for that and Merry Xmas from us.
that structure is amazing! The radar antenna must have been very heavy and needed all that mass to support it and keep the unit protected from bombardment. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Wisconsin, USA!
Merry X-mas and happy new year from us.
Interesting how the small diameter yellow pipes seem to have been added after the war. What extra post war activities were done here?
So true my very first thoughts, then they seemed to go into a wall, but simply amazing!
i rally have no idea. Thanks James and Greetings from us.
Looks like the conduit might even be PVC. Cables from a Petrol Generator for a nearby workshop (ignored doorways) 20 years old? Like to see the original Co-ax feeder cross-section, won't be waveguide. (not centrimetric I believe)
What a unique bunker! Truly once in a lifetime video!
I agree but we will share more of these later :) Thanks.
Loved that radar bunker. Truely amazing!! Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for another great video. Miss the drone shots but this bunker was something special.
Thanks Andrew
I have gotten a bit behind on your video's, been extremely busy. Hope you and your family had a blessed christmas and a happy new year!! Thank's for sharing this, such a cool place!! I've seen pictures of these station's before its really neat to see how it is now!! Safe travels, see you later and goodbye!!
Thanks again Joshua for Your great support. Greetings from us.
These shows are really interesting
Thanks Carol
Just incredible! I've never heard of the Germans having any such type of radar like that, though I am not surprised that they did. The engineering that went into that bunker was just awesome. I can't understand why anyone would have added that concrete brick wall inside the bunker. It was obviously added much later than the War. Any ideas? Regardless, it is just so fascinating. I can't thank you enough for all that you do in order to share these wonderful historical sites with us all. Please keep the outstanding videos coming and God bless you and your family, my friend!
Great place it is and so glad we could share with you.
What an awesome site! Thanks for fording through the 💧 water.

You always make a nice vlog about it.
Happy Christmas with your family.
A very Merry X-mas to you from us Oma
Wat a stunning bunker,
Here in uk, the bunkers get sealed off mainly because we not meant to go in as its deteriorating at a vast rate of knots ,or there is sumthing in there we are not meant to see, but we get in one way or another !!!
I am hooked on your videos ,
This is amazing ,jo from uk
Again thank you very much Joanne , highly appreciated and greetings to you from us.

Greetings Doug and Merry X-mas from us.
I watched this last nice on the big screen (fantastic) but I can't comment on the ROKU. I really enjoyed it. Got to get busy and find the clues, Sure miss Eagle Eyes, let him know we know he's there with you. And Merry Christmas to you That forest has been planted. Must have been a lot of activity in that area. It doesn't grow in the straight lines and grow the same size in nature. Be careful, no injuries allowed. 131 foot high radar array, wow.
He he , just so glad to read Your comments Lorele and greatly appreciated. Keep smiling and i will keep safe :)
What a incredible bunker! Thanks for the adventure sir. Be well!

Great location indeed. Thanks Phil and a Merry Xmas and Happy New year from us :)
WoW! Amazing place! This radar station is very interesting! The large thickness of the walls certainly guaranteed protection against bombardment but could also protect the operators against the effects of high frequency electromagnetic waves.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Glad you liked it :) Merry Xmas and happy new year.
Wow. So neat of an adventure
Appreciated my friend
What an interesting radar technology during WW2. How many air battles this may have played an important part in. I wonder what happened to the radar logs - the reports of incoming Allied aircraft would be interesting as well as reports of out going German aircraft.
This place was extremely important and played a major role in what the Germans did at any given time during WW2. Thanks James for taking time to watch so many of our videos and for commenting. Greatly appreciated my friend and greetings from us.
Have a happy New year and a merry Christmas form Ireland
