Powerful tornadoes carved a path of destruction in parts of the Midwest. Homes and businesses were destroyed or damaged after they touched down in Nebraska and Iowa. #shorts
I would imagine since y'all are on the road so much therefore more likely to be exposed to them. It notable that most of the SMART people pulled over on the side of the road, instead of driving towards the tornado are those with big trucks.
@@firetrucksrule07Some people are already a missed paycheck from losing everything anyway, and some people would rather risk a quick death while attempting to hold onto what they still have than suffer from the long, drawn-out pain of becoming homeless.
@@tigrrtomI grew up in NH right in the middle of the White Mountains - I think tornadoes are insanely fascinating to watch _on a screen_ but I’d probably die of fright if I happened to see one in person. I live just a few miles from downtown Portland Maine now. I used to be absolutely terrified of thunderstorms, well the lightening part. Now I miss the *feeling* of the thunder as it hasn’t got any mountains to bounce its sound off…
@@IdkAgain-de9eb Indeed it does, regardless of whether the temperature is in Fahrenheit or Celsius! But I'll take the cold and snow over the destructive power and randomness of a tornado any day!
Why am I watching this? We just had two tornadoes spotted 7 miles east of us. The sirens are going off like crazy. I’m outside, watching tornado videos. Like like an ass.
The fact he said "c'mon throw debris in the air" was totally uncalled for. People's lives are at risk and you're wanting to see houses and business destroyed?!?! Wait for it... Karma is a BITCH
Pretty sure this clip is from a professional storm chaser….they keep driving because they know the things to know and have the vehicles equipped to do so.
We’ve been getting a lot of tornadoes here in Ohio lately we’re actually getting hit with bad weather right now my area is under a Tornado Watch until 4:00am
Praying for all of you. Wish there was a way to make buildings enforced against such devestation. Wish they were very thick like concrete and steel instead of sticks. With a shelter built underground, were their able to do so. I know "Cost" Im more intersted in lives.
People keep commenting on why they're driving towards it. Because they're more than likely stormchasers. Jeez people, crawl out of your caves from time to time.
It's amazing how these people are not afraid to drive during a tornado. And that's because they're used to it. If i saw something like that it would totally freek me out!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💯
The fact people keep driving towards it baffles me.
Not everybody is a coward! It's not like they're driving into it.
Me too i don't know hope everyone is alright ❤
Sometimes, bosses tell their employees that anyone who ditches work to avoid the tornado will be fired.
I would guess that it’s because they feel like they don’t have a choice and have to get to their destination
True but storms aren’t going to chase themselves 😁
As a Trucker, nothing is scarier than this.

@MeeniWeeni no need to attack him.. damn
@MeeniWeeni no need to attack him.. damn
"That's a strong tornado; lots of debris in the air."
(proceeds to get closer)
No pain no gain
Right!?? And talking about, Jesus be with these people...Duh, you are one of them!🤦🏾♀️🙆🏽♀️😂🤣
Duh, the tornado had already crossed the highway and was headed away from him, don't be the typical liberal DA.
They’re probably storm chasers
Storm chasers! It’s what we do!
These people who just kept on driving isnt smart. That thing can turn very quickly and they be in trouble.
I thought the exact same thing about those who had stopped.
@@eaglevision9791 yeah them too as well. It's like you guys aren't safe there either
That, or their boss said that anyone who ditched work to avoid the tornado would be fired.
@@amarinreyny5316 and I would say screw them. Life is not worth a job

That tornado was going above the speed limit.
lol 😂
Yeah it was going 230
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can't live where there are tornadoes. I'm absolutely terrified of them. I'll take earthquakes and tsunamis any day of the week.
Ok terrified of them all 😭
The cold and snow in Michigan for 4 months is positively benign in comparison to the minutes of terror and destruction.

I used to live in the Midwest… Tornadoes are no joke! So scary…
My area here in Ohio is currently under a Tornado Watch until 4:00am
I'll take the snow, Hamburg, NY
I'm in Tonawanda lol I say the same thing.
Stranger. That is dangerous that is not safe to be on the highway get your butt in shelter.
Whoever’s hit by the tornado, I hope they recover.
Looks like a huge tornado out there. Let's keep driving!!
What’s the difference? Should you stop and then let it hit you while stopped? 😂😂.
"The boss told me I still had to go to work, and I'm a missed paycheck away from losing everything anyway, so..."
What a great pic with the flag 🇺🇲🇺🇸 🌪️ Merica. Praying everyone is safe🙏
I used to live in Lincoln, Nebraska, but I never saw anything like this.
I've lived here all my life, 70 years, have never seen one this close to town.
So weird it’s not raining or storming?
Too much open space for the wind to pick up like that
Nebraska is a no thanks state for me
And once again I miss my chance to go to Oz. 😢
Pray to God
Maybe its me.. i wouldn't be driving in that direction.. nope nope nope
I can't believe it hasn't come to Tennessee! Tornado alley resident 🙀
Oh wow that's really scary
Something tells me this isn’t his first rodeo 💯
Why am I watching this? We just had two tornadoes spotted 7 miles east of us. The sirens are going off like crazy. I’m outside, watching tornado videos. Like like an ass.
Praying 🙏 for Nebraska 😢
Why? God did this. He clearly wants to hurt these people.
I once saw a tornado knock out an entire train. Why do people keep driving towards it?

Wow scary!!!

AND YOU ARE DRIVING TOWARD IT?!
I remember the F4 tornado of May 6th, 1975. Severe weather was part of growing up in Nebraska.
This is I 80 between Lincoln and Omaha?
Yes
Waverly NE, a couple miles east of Lincoln.
That is legitimately terrifying…
Those people pulled over are likely terrified at what they witnessed.
We’ve been getting a lot of tornadoes here in Ohio lately we’re actually getting hit with bad weather right now my area is under a Tornado Watch until 4:00am
My friends small town in Iowa got hit hard. About that size.
*I would think vehicles should park tightly, NEXT to each other to minimize wind exposure.*
Prayers out to all
Wow😮 a force of nature ….😮
Unreal
It is really grinding in there!
Minden Iowa got hit hard. A lady lost her husband and house
Is that the same as yesterday or other?
Damn
Right out of the wizard of Oz
@cpolite 5374 I live in Lincoln, Ne. Iam going to move out of tornado Alley Tom Jones! 30 beast tornadoes hit yesterday for 6 hours. They were beasts.
Beautiful tornado but the destruction is very sad . Don't they teach people in Oklahoma to stay out from tunnels n under bridges during a tornado?
F3 or F4
The guy hand filming while driving gets his video spotlighted while none of the people who responsibly pulled over do. Lol
My grandma called that, Dancing with the devil
Nebraska very nice, specially green & populated side. 🤗
That American Flag is giving Red October vibes
0:20 notice that truck trying to get closer possible 😊
Black cloud tornadoes are scarier to me
Oh, I wouldn’t want to be in the path of this tornado 🌪!

Dangerously beautiful
Our flag is standing still ! 🎉
That looks like a polluted tornado!
Looks super natural
People keep commenting on why they're driving towards it.
Because they're more than likely stormchasers. Jeez people, crawl out of your caves from time to time.
A LOT of ppl were driving towards it tho,
That, or their boss(es) said that anyone who ditched work to avoid the tornado would be fired.
What about that black figure by the bridge… looks like death no joke
So people just standing around video taping it wow
BREATHTAKING!!!!!!!
Y’all driving towards dat?… 🫢
"The boss told me I still had to go to work, and I'm a missed paycheck away from losing everything anyway, so..."

Scary.
Someone call Helen Hunt!
Huge tornado 🌪️ right behind the American 🇺🇸 flag the irony is not lost.
Obvious why He won't let me go
Too bad Pat Robertson is no longer around to tell us what God is punishing them for.
HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!
Go go go go, go go go. Get away from the Sharknado. Sharknadooooo.
don't look up!
😮😮😮 why
People do much more damage.... most of them dont care, until it hits them. Then they ask - why, for forgiveness, for help...
And the flag was still there
Wow 🙏
The flag held its own.
"Jesus be with these people,"
I agree. Time to repent 🙏🏾❤

Flag still stands

The only thing that could suck more than this tornado is my ex-wife
