In master mode the first trials are the hardest ones because the next ones have a lot of elemental enemies that do not get buffed in master mode
Not really there is just as much enemies in the middle and end trials PLUS the elemental enemies

Btw you can chain sneak strikes by going behind them over and over again.
Edit: I learned that in a Master Mode Trial of the Sword guide.

Myth busted, in reality. They seek the spot you were when you sneakstrike an enemy.
Very important information when you chain sneakstrike on slopes
So when chaining sneakstrikes. You need to make a last sneakstrike spot/Enemy/ you alignement.

Before i also though that enemies turn 180° after being stunned no matter what. But one day it didn't worked especially when enemies slides after the strike.. And i didn't know why. Until i discovered myself how this mechanic really works. Now i can exploit it effectively.

You have to chain a sneak strike on the silver lisalfos thats how i beat it

For anyone having trouble with floor 10, there’s a neat little trick you can use with the sneakstrike mechanic. Whenever you use sneakstrike, the enemy will automatically turn around when it gets up no matter what. So what you basically want to do is go in front of it before it gets up. It won’t be able to see you and you’ll be able to perform another sneakstrike.

Trial of the sword in normal mode is easy
It took me 6 tries to beat it in mastermode but i was really lucky the lisalfos room killed me 5 times

Preparations: before going into the trials, eat 30m lvl 3 attack boost food (3 MIGHTY bananas, 1 mighty fistle, 1 dragon horn or monster extract (save before cooking with it because it's 33%)
get maximum yellow hearts (cook 5 durians)
now let's talk about THE room:
1) statis the first and kill him quick
2) Sneak on the first, shoot an arrow on the ground to bait him
3) chain sneakstrikes (sneakstrike/walk in front of him/sneakstrike/ walk in front of him/repeat) avoid running. You can push him while he's stunned. But make sure he doesn't fall in water.
If he's in water: hide/ or use your rod. It's efective.
4) do that with the second one.

The begginer trials on master mode, imo, is by far the hardest of the 3. Middle trials were annoying but not all that difficult to me, and it only took me 2 tries to beat the final trials, with me dying on the last level on my first attempt😭😭
Hi A game I don't know if you knew it, but you can transfer buffs, bonuses, extra hearts and stamina vessels into trail of the sword.
For example : If you cook a dragon part with some armored porgys you'll get a 30 min defense buff. Just eat it right before you enter into trial of the sword. The same is with extra hearts if you cook 5 hearty radishes it'll give you 15 extra hearts, eat the meals before you enter and you'll have an easier time doing the trails, especially in master mode. :)
You can also defeat hinoxes and stalnoxes easier if you freeze em with satis + and hit them in the eye with an arrow, so they can't cover up their eye with their hand.

another good strat is to use bombs in any room with trees to collect wood, then when you get to a pot, cook a bunch of dubious foods. they only restore 1/4 of a heart but there worth it

Just completed the Beginning Trials in Master Mode today after 6 or more attempts! My hands started trembling getting through Floor 10 and they didn't stop until I finished it all! Hated every second of it but was worth it. I will attempt the middle trials eventually too. Edit: 3 weeks later and I just completed the Middle trials! Let's gooo!

Remote Bombs really help with the electric wizard. Timed throws/explosions knock him down easily.

The raft level is probably one of the most creative and fun levels in all of the trials. It gives me flashbacks of riding in the warthog shooting people while the guys in the front are trying to tank the shots lol

I've done the trial of the sword. Completed all of it. I was so flippen happy when I finished that 3rd floor. OMG...then I watched an Asian guy here on CZcams do a speed run through trial of the sword. He did it ALL in less than an hour. I wish I could remember the name of his video. After that I have a new game (normal mode, not that insane Master Mode), I have completed beginning trials and middle trials. I am extremely impressed with Mr. A-Game. I have not tried it in master mode.
Mr. A Game! I learned to use the bombs to bring down trees and then cook the wood. Only gives a quarter heart per meal, but it’s better than nothing!

Lol your expressions in this video are just pure suffering. I struggled so much with the normal mode trials, especially the last lot of stages. I utterly dread doing this on my current Master Mode playthrough.
Tell me about it. I struggled in normal mode a lot too. But now in master mode it's a nightmare. I've attempted the beginning trials today for the second time only to die at the cursed 10th floor! Don't know when I'll try again, I dread it so much too!

I failed miserably at the 2 silver lizalfos. Only had the eightfold blade as my best option. Even with a high attack boost meal I barely put a dent in the first one. Oh well, it was fun in normal mode 😅

It took me forever to do the beginner trials in Normal mode, who knows how long it'll take me to finish them in Master Mode. So far I've died thrice and I've only reached the 9th floor. Thanks, this will help I think.
