I grew up watching Overboard, it was always one of my favorites. Later in life, finding out Kurt and Goldie were lifelong partners made it even better. They are life goals ❤ Adore them both.
Overboard is ONE of "my" wife and "i's" favorites. "we" call it ONE of "our" comfort films. "we" Love Goldie and Kurt. "i" Love Kevin Bacon too "my" favorite film that "he" is in is flatliners although "he" is great in anything "he" does. Love "you" too James. 😻🐾

I can't agree with you more. Their chemistry is simply amazing. Overboard is one of my favorite comedies actually and I'm not even into comedies. That movie and its cast is special.

I've seen "Overboard" (the original w/Goldie) many times, it's one of the most fun and uplifting movies I've ever seen and one of my favorites. The remake was ok but not nearly as memorable or fun as the original.

I just have to say Kevin Bacon is a great actor, he has the ability to capture any kind of personality for any type of character needed from any film director, I don't think he gets nearly enough credit for his acting abilities, Kevin, I hope that they are paying you for what your worth, I think u are one of the most believable character's that I have ever seen in every role u ever portrayed, just wanted you to know you are appreciated for efforts, look forward to your next role 😙

I grew up living a couple blocks away from Kurt and when he was twelve on those rare occasions when he wasn't working as a kid, he would cruise his bicycle by all of us playing in the Street before the Street Lights came on...we didn't care that he was even famous at the time...we just welcomed him to play with us, ...but, he always said, "I'm sorry, I can't." ...But, I can see his face to this day and I knew he wanted to.

I watch 'Overboard' at least twice a year along with some of my other favorite movies. That is a great movie. From what I hear..., the scene where Goldie pushes Kurt backwards over the boat rail in to the water?..., I heard Goldie got a little bit too energetic. She sent Kurt flyin'. " Gee, problems at home kids?". LoL
