When roger sings he’s all like “fucc yee I’m a badass boi” but when he speaks he’s soft and pure like tf
“It’s always the quiet ones.”
And he acts like "imma bad boii" in the interviews but with da band he's like "UwU I'm softie"
Vincey L he’s also very good at screaming
Listen to Michael Jackson's voice
@@johnp.6692 yeah Michael is the same, such a pure boi when he speaks
Fun fact: Due to Brian May being in the hospital for most of the Sheer Heart Attack sessions, John Deacon actually plays the acoustic guitar part on this track.
source?
I thought Roger played acoustic
@@bedwarsgb4523 he can play a little bit of guitar, but since he's mainly a drummer probably not a lot. when you play one string instrument chances are you play another and those chances are greater when it's bass and guitar. John is known to have played guitar before he switched to bass and joined Queen.
@@lemau8458 Roger Taylor was the guitarist in his band "The Cross" that ran its course from 1987 to 1993. He played guitar in many of his 70's Queen songs that he wrote. You can find the credits under the "(Remastered 2011)" versions under the Queen - Topic videos on CZcams or alternatively you can find the credits on Wikipedia for each and every song from each album.
Wow no way. Is this true? Where did you hear this?
Love Roger Taylor's voice.

His voice is in my top ten all time favorites for rock/metal singers.
He sounds a bit like Rod Stewart.
Well, not many guys can have such a raspy tone and still be able to do top-notch falsettos. I swear, RT is talented af, and not only as a drummer.
these four guys are way too good for this world

Queen is so amazing band because ALL MEMEBERS WERE EXCELLENT AT WHAT WERE THEY DOIN'

I’d say all of them are pretty good, but I find John to be a bit mediocre, but that’s just me
@Enthusiastic fan konečně někdo, ahoj! :D Queeni jsou nejlepší kapela 👌
Roger : give me your good guitat.
Brian : NO.
Jeezz. What a pun.
I laughed so Hard that IF i could, I'd smash The botton as much as It'd allow me to.

Hilarious!!!
Who else is listening through the whole album?
me!
Here!
Here too!
I have done so many many many times.
This is the best album of Queen!
The most talented band ever
Mohammad Ebrahim isn’t it obvious already
Manuel Sotelo Colera and Floyd, and Beatles, the list goes on...
I completely agree! For me, they’re the best band in the world
@@mr.avocado9413 shut up
Abby Dreher why?
Oh Roger, your hair was far from being a disgrace, quite the opposite!
I scrolled down just to say that lol
Of course he reffers to Brian's hair, who begged for a good guitar! Of course his Gibsons were too bad! Nonsense...
His 70s long hair tho...
Roger is GORGEOUS always was always will be
Damn he aged WELL!!!
His hair was never a disgrace. It’s literally beautiful. His long hair in the 70s and his mullet in the 80s. Always beautiful 😍
"my new purple shoes" that made me think of his pink sparkly shoes he wore in the 70s
I love his pink converse
First time hearing the song I thought he said “my new fucking shoes”
@@yourboi_sam7685 The first time I listened it, I thought he said, "My nipples and shoes," lmao.

I love it when roger sings. I'm in love with my car was the first time I heard him sing lead vocals and this is just as good. his voice is so.....amazing.
Right on! And I'm guessing you've heard his song on Queen's second album by now. But if not, it's called "Loser In The End" and is a great song as well. His vocals and drums on it are excellent!
@@dwightropp3014 omg a reply six years later reminding me of this comment. I had heard of it at the time and still listen to all three songs mentioned to this day. What can I say? I am a Roger Taylor fangirl through and through.
@@rosecohen6597-- Ya, I had only just saw your original comment for the first time and later noticed that it was from six years ago, haha! And yes, you have my respect for being a fangirl!

Roger: What I love cars
the joke technically doesnt work because I'm In Love With My Car was released a year AFTER this song lol

Don't get me wrong here I am an 'over-all' Queen fan for 44 years already but I just ADORE the Roger Taylor songs/vocals/compositions ...
Now that's what I call relatable ♡
I adore Roger in general
I do not get you wrong. I know exactly what you feel now. My feelings over Roger's voice hasn't changed a bit from my mid-teens in 1970s. Anytime I but Queen's new album, I was hoping that he sang more and more. Just an amazing voice from heaven.
@@timx8236 same
I've read that he actually released a solo album or two back in the day, which is worth checking into, I'd say.
Roger Taylor has a killer voice! Love his style!
He looked adorable when he cross dressed too when younger. Good looking man, good looking woman.
Rog: Give me a good guitar, and you can say that my hair's a disgrace...
Bri: Ha, very funny, nice one Rog.
Rog: ...I'll make the speed of light outta this place...
Bri: ONLY massless wavelike particles can achieve the speed of light ROGER.
A thousand thumbs up
Hell, I pictured them both saying that and just cracked up :-D
cuz hes in love with his car

Well roger can accomplish anything
Brian, can you stop being an astrophysicist for like 5 minutes?
Why are the songs he sings so damn short. That is a crime

No Roger.. your hair is gorgeous.
For me this is one of Queen's most interesting albums
This is my favorite album by them

Ditto dat...
In my opinion the only really good Queen albums are the first three. They actually feel like albums as opposed to a couple hits a few good songs and a lot of filler.
Roger's voice is one of said good things in life. ;)
And its *FREE*

SHA was my first album I ever bought. I wore it out. It had everything one could ask for in a musical experience. Super under rated.
My too! I broght it in a littel shop in France

May favourite Queen album
Queen is one of the few bands that are a real team. When most bands have only the lead singer as a driving force (and sometimes one other person as a second-in-command or complementary member), this band has everyone contribute in their own way. Each member has a standout contribution on each song, and you don't realize it until further listening. Queen's music has to be dissected, studied, and analyzed in order to understand what the song is and appreciate how many layers it has. When it comes to the identity and imagery, Queen may be overrated. However, after really going deep into the music, they also turn out to be underrated.
That's why I personally didn't like the movie Bohemian Rhapsody as it only focused on Freddy and not the band as a whole
@@zyxluz4645 it'd be way too long for it to focus on the 4 members , it'd take them 4 movies lol , plus there arent really that much of events that would work in a movie in the life of the other 3 , i mean of you were going to make a movie about say john , basically it'd be summarized in him joining the band , kicking ass as a bassist , and retiring for good , see what i mean?
@@nightknightinblack Yeah i see your point. You're right, however I was more talking about about the band not the individual members. But yeah they did the right thing focusing on Freddie Mercury.
@@zyxluz4645 yea i understand ur point , it was more of a freddie mercury movie rather than Queen movie
Guys, I don't know how was the banner of the movie un your country, but in Latin América, the title literally says "Bohemian Rhapsody, the history of Freddie Mercury" 😁
This song captivates the essence of rock'n'roll
The voice is young and not so raspy yet here.
snappy snoopy yep so true
his voice was always raspy, but his voice had differents facets: falsettos, raspy, rock voice, high backing vocals. In drowse you can hear his differents voices !
Shallex lisp
Listen to Roger singing I feel good, that will change your mind. He was only 17 and his voice was definitely raspy
This is one of my favorite Roger tracks. It reminds me of “ Ziggy Stardust” album from David Bowie. It somehow encapsulates that glam rock era
Always reminded me of early-70’s Bowie, with that extra twist that only Queen could pull off. Love it.
I have to admit that hearing most of Roger's songs for the first time it's kind of um, okay, yeah, alright. But after listening to them a few times, they get really good. Like really, really good. This is one of the best. He's got a great voice.
You know your old when you bought this in vinyl the day it came out and had to get a ride from your buddies mom. Not sure anyone knows what a 45 is anymore. And the song still speaks to me. old and crazy indeed.
Amazing song...Roger I'm in love with you just when I was only a child. Now I'm 32 and I still love you.
💓💓💓Roger Appreciation Comment💓💓💓
Absolutely encapsulates rock n’ roll: fashion, noise, parties, girls, music, hair, fast cars, youth, being broke and crazy. What a guy
"When you're young, and your're poor and you're crazy" Love it.
The description says "see the best of Freddie Mercury, Brian May and Roger Taylor"...I really hope this is a mistake, because John Deacon has to be mentioned. Put his name too.
Barbara Carlin John Deacon didn’t want to be mentioned after 1997.
I think this is Queen's best album. Roger Taylor had all lights on !
Above this masterpiece, I think SHEER HEART ATTACK is one of the best Queen's albums
Roger and Brian were both great singers in their right.
My only complaint is that this song needed to be longer! Part of a medley, understood, but damn, I could listen to 2 more minutes of that no problemo.
agreed
This track summarises the whole essence of rock 'n' roll in 2 minutes
For anyone curious, Roger performed this song live in the 90's, along with some other tracks like Ride the Wild Wind, A Kind of Magic, I Want to Break Free, and some others.
"I like the good things in life"
The sheer amount of talent packed into all 4 members was ridiculous. Each one could have had their own separate band and pumped out hits with their songwriting ability, but amazingly they were all together in one band.
they went through 6 bass players in 1-2 years before they found Deacon
Gimme a good guitar..... Damn that's good guitar
Roger's vocals are certainly excellent, but can we take a moment to appreciate that guitar solo? It's magnificent, probably my favorite of the whole album.
I saw this performed at the Queen Extravaganza. My god it was mesmerizing. Always been an album favourite since.
Roger is playing this gem these days on his solo Outsider tour 😎
I just became a fan this yr ... When I listened to Bohemian R, I loved it. Then I did my research had no idea who they were but Then I learned he made under pressure, I want to break free , I love those songs just never knew who sang them. Can not wait for the movie 🎥 coming in November. Sad to learn how he passed on . Rip to me he’s the best. Love his work..
That's what makes them legendary. Once you become a fan you will be forever! :)
Farrokh Bulsara...once said something similar to, "I'd be the handsomest man in the world if it wasn't for my teeth." ..
Love him!
He’s still the most handsome man in the world even with his teeth.
Lmao his teeth made him even hotter tbh 😂😍
The changes in the song are unbelievable love it
When I first heard this song I was so happy at the line "My purple shoes" because I also had purple shoes. I feel so connected to Roger by that simple line.
I love the part when it says ‘young and your crazy’ idk why but I love it so much lol
What really gets me is the bass. It's weird because it's a very drum and guitar heavy song but the bass is just phenomenal!
How is he so amazing I swear all of rogers songs make me so emotional
1:02 Brian’s face is me when someone says stop talking about Queen 🙄
Roger Taylor siempre destacó con esa voz tan bella. QUEEN es ARTE y MÚSICA 🎶
duh
Love Roger writing all angsty and edgy and then there's Deaky like
'You're my best friend', 'if you can't beat em join them' and 'spread your wings'
Roger, roger, roger, what would we do without you? 😂 this masterpiece is pure gold! Thanks a lot baby 😘
One of my early favs from Roger. That guitar solo really sells this song for me-there’s just something about it that screams power, luxury, and unbelievably piercing authority... it’s just so magical.
I love all eras of Queen, but there’s just something about 70s Queen that is so magical. The drums are crisp, the guitar solo is heavy, the harmonies are vocals vastly different, and the basslines are wonderfully deep. Queen forever ❤️❤️❤️
This is the most roger taylor song ever 😂❤️❤️
THIS IS SUCH A GOOD SONG
All of you listening to Queen in 2021 are too cool for the world.
still probably my fav from queen. classic.
“Give me a good guitar and you can say that my hairs a disgrace”
Now I could be wrong but what if he was trying to roast Brian here
This is actually John Deacon on acoustic. Look it up. He also played all the guitars on 'Misfire'. Talented lad.
Roger Taylors vocals are amazing on this song and Brian Mays guitar brilliant !!!!
Do you know John played all the acoustic guitar in this one?
I love how Brian plays the guitar in this song. Majestic as always
Do you know John played all the acoustic guitar in this song?
@@Dillon12 probably because Bri couldn't play because Roger have just said to give him the good guitar

A lot of love for Roger's voice here. But I love Brian's solo. Sublime!
It's Dave Grohls favourite Queen song....and for good reason 😊

This is probably my favourite song of all time
I absolutely love it!!! Roger, you perfect human being!
Queen is so dynamic. Roger's one helluva vocalist and he's STILL second string!
Excellent work of Brian and Roger...
One of my favorite Queen songs
bass line rocks! Love Deaky!
Roger is an Awesome songwriter and singer, excellent musician too. He's so talented
i love his voice... i dont have to say much... I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM
"My purple shoes" LOL I had a pair, back (way back) in '72. I was 10yrs. old and cool beyond my age.
On balance, as a complete album as whole, Sheer Heart Attack is Queens best album, in my opinion.
LoungeJay agreed, every single song from this album is legendary
I love you, Roger...and yes, Nathan Shlapobersky, I'm listening to the whole album. Thank you very much.
Another amazingly underrated track by Queen that is criminal as it is in my top Queen tracks of all time
I love this song so much, its one of my favourite on the album!!
Jeez this is the first song that i played in the bass when i had only 13 years...good memories💞☺
Really Roger? Your songs are like punch on my face! Hard.
Why is: “i like the best things in life, but most of the best things aint free”? And then “like this same situation when you’re young, you’re poor, and u’re crazy”!?! Its punching me hard Rog. Real hard.
Ps: my life is going down, so just saying... Roger’s coming to my life JIT ❤️❤️❤️
"Find me an open car" said Roger before writing "I'm in love with my car"
Because sb found it for him and then he fells in love with this car
The hidden genius behind the first side of Sheer Heart Attack is that it takes you to different places, introducing you to various characters on the journey. The seedy 'seaside rendezvous' of Brighton Rock, to the high class call girl in Killer Queen. Tenement Funster then takes you to Roger's working class housing estate before Freddie introduces the human trafficker (Flick Of The Wrist) followed by the whimsical fantasy of Lily Of The Valley. Brian then finally brings us back to earth with a rocking account of life on the road. Amazing still to this day.
What a flipping great song this is.
Oh my god all my life I thought he said "Or just find me an old guitar". Damn.
A simple message with a mix that Queen could make: "Tenement Of The Wrist Of The Valley"
Queen really rocked hard in 1974 with Sheer Heart Attack album.
QUEEN FOREVER!
Nothing Else Matters of Metallica is inspired in this song :)
Beautiul song! great singer! Roger, the best!
1:02 Brian looks like a sassy teenage girl

''Just find me an open car''
*ah Roger here we go again damn*
Put the 10 album tracks Rog wrote and sang for Queen in the 70's together as a playlist & you have the greatest rock n roll album for youth there never was. Try it, then stick it in your car. It'll blow your mind. The guy is a true rock n roll legend with one of THE GREATEST rock vocals of all time & in my view made the best solo albums of any member of any of the world's super groups. As a complete body of work his career output is second to none - check the dude out - Strange Frontier or Electric Fire both brilliant albums to start discovering the real gems in his canon.
The holy trinity !!!!
Tenement Funster-Flick of the wrist-Lily of The Valley goes smooth into the majestic Rocker „Now I‘m Here“ !!!!
Absolutely Brilliant, still leaves me speechless with shivers in awe.
One of the greatest moments in History of music !!!!
Roger es esplendido, el tema sheer... De news of the world es punk de la época.esta banda sabía hacerlo todo muy bien.
