Jesus wrote I LOVE YOU on my heart. I felt each word being pressed in my heart. Such immovable peace, such thrilling joy, and the heavenly embrace of love itself. I was a new convert after a very sinful life. So if he loves me, I know he loves every person. Amen❤🎉

I just cried out of nowhere when Mary Magdalene told Nicodemus what Jesus said to her; "You are mine". Such powerful words that stirred up my spirit. I felt like Jesus himself told me that!

I was in a depression and felt like I was too sinful. That episode was what got through to me. Jesus hugged her and said, "you are mine'". I was broken. Praise God He loves me and I am His for all time!

@@louisecox9641 It was actually Western Europeans who named the Indian religion "Hindu." Hindu really refers to a people who live in Hindustan. Hindu was originally a geographic and cultural term and only began to be used to describe a religious affiliation when Europeans showed up and did not know what name to call the religions of the region. In the Hindustan region the term Hindu is still used to describe a culture. So yes, people in that region could be Hindu Christians, just like someone could be a Mandarin Christian.
We do need to recognize as the gospel goes global, converts will have very different traditions and cultures than people traditionally associate with the church.

Awesomeness! My grandson who has rejected God and religion asks to watch the Chosen just about every night.
I myself used to be Catholic, but am now agnostic. I think this is a wonderful series. It's not just a story of God, but a story of people; human beings.
Since I was a child, I always knew that the story of Jesus could resonate with people of all beliefs if told right. A man that brings hope to those hanging over despair.
The production, casting, and performance of this show rivals those of even Game of Thrones and Star Wars (minus the budget, which perhaps makes it more impressive).
I may not believe in God, per se, but I believe this is a story that everyone should see.

I was a chain smoker for 23 years!! I cried to Jesus that I was a slave and for him to take my desire away from smoking! The Holy Spirit told my heart " It's only a habit and habits can be broken if you believe". I was healed instantly!! That was 3 years ago and never cheated nor even desired to smoke again ! I thank dear Jesus for deliverence! He can do the same for you too but if you are willing. Amen

In the last few months I went from being in the prime of my health to broken in both mind and body. Watching Jesus heal and comfort the afflicted, I can't help but cry every time. I am right there with them in their desperation--a reaction completely different than the one I would have had before. I want to believe I have been brought to this low place for a purpose. While I wait and wonder what it might be, I read the Word and watch this series and pray. What a blessing The Chosen has been in this time. Thank you, Dallas, and all who support this project.

Please encourage him to study the Bible, not Movies... Other Religions will think we relay on movies rather studying it... How it was in the days of Noah so shall it be when Christ comes... Beyond words! The emotions...I had tears streaming down from season 1. The story of Mary Magdalene ooohhh got me. I can testify the LORD JESUS has healed me. I had many holes within that I was trying to fill with relationships, trips, outings, stuff, but nothing worked. After (what felt like i was 'running away' from my own life), walking with the LORD has made me Whole. HE strenghthens me, guides me, fights for me, loves me, provides for me, protects me, motivates me, I can go on and on. Glory to the FATHER! Well done on a wonderful series.

You might just be agnostic because I am sure the real Jesus would say there is hope for you. Everyone has moments of doubt does not make them atheist. Life is like a mystery book if you do not like the chapter you are in do what you can to fix your mistakes and seek forgiveness but most importantly forgive yourself.
This series has changed my life. I was a Christian, but after watching all three seasons and episodes, the Lord and His disciples have become so real to me, i feel so much closer to Him. This is a wonderful series❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've always respected The Chosen so much for deciding to start the series out with Mary Magdalene. She's such an important character in our history whose reputation was marred by lack of understanding and confusion regarding her identity being mixed up with other female biblical characters. She was truly "the apostle to the apostles"
She was the leader of one group of apostles. She was preaching like the others showing that in the early church there was no obstacle to women preacher's. Some gospels show that Jesus preferred her to Peter. Somewhere in history the prophetess lost their leadership position. She was also the sister of Jesus best friend Lazarus.
To downgrade her one of the Popes said she was a prostitute when she wasn't.
She was the first Christian being the first witness of the Resurrection. She was not the wife of Jesus. Jesus was unmarried to the end.

The first time I watched episode 1, I opened my Bible to try find where the "Thus says the Lord who created you, I have called you by name, you are Mine."
I opened the Bible to Isaiah because I knew that's where it was from the dialogue and I opened up to the exact verse.
It was a different translation I had, so I read it once and thought, "wait... is that..." I read it again and realized it was the verse.
I'll never forget pausing and just hearing my breath as I took in what just happened.
When the Roman said "She's causing a disturbance" my brain automatically added "In the Force". 🤣😂🤓 💙😊✝️
The the scene between Mary and Nicodemus will always be one of the most epic. "All I know is, I was one way, and now I'm completely different. And the only thing that happened in between, was Him. So yes, I will know Him for the rest of my life". Amen!
Balled my eyes out tonight as Mary started preparing for Shabbat, opening the door to Jesus then reading the prayer in His presence as He takes the seat prepared for "Elijah". I watched this episode back in 2020 when it was just released, and now with the context of S4 E7 in mind, my heart is overflowing with emotion thinking how devoted she must have been towards Him (and He to her...to us).
I just wanna have Christ. I am new to Christianity. It's amazing this side. Worship a loving God is beyond
As a traditional Catholic I have not been drawn to the series of the chosen until I heard the testimony of Jonathan Roumie and also his incredible pro life speeches. It was only then I started to watch The chosen series and could experience The Love, Presence, and Light of Christ in Jonathan as he plays the role of Jesus. I was absolutely astounded at the comment of someone on the chosen app and disappointed it rated as an accessible high rating for all to see where it said words to the effect that they really liked the role Jonathan played of Jesus because it wasn’t “Catholic “. It is because Jonathan is SO Catholic that he played the role of Jesus so well. All Glory be to God 🙏🕊

Learn it, you're not suppose to be good at something after doing it one time or in your case, never. But with repetition you will be given understanding and wisdom to know God and his Son. "For anyone who comes to God must believe that he is and is a rewarded of them who diligently seek after him".

To all the critics I say, if a show takes it upon itself to evangelise to the masses by depicting our Lord as fully God and fully man at the same time, while spreading the unparalleled hope contained in the Gospel, it's trying to do something right.
Much of the criticism against the show is has to do with the creative freedoms taken by the show-runners in their depiction of Jesus--that some of the things the character says in the show is either unbiblical or nowhere to be found in the Bible. But my argument is, this is all the more reason for us to watch the show and understand that the depiction of Christ on the miniscreen by sinners like us can never be completely faithful to our actual Lord. It is also a great reminder that a tv show can never ever take the place of the Bible. If anything, it can be a stepping stone to actually reading and familiarising ourselves with the perfect, immaculate and inerrant word of God.
If at the end of each episode folks come out falling more in love with Jesus, realising the enormity of our sin-nature and therefore the sheer gravity of the sacrificial love displayed by our Lord on the cross for an undeserving lot like us, and wanting to love and learn more about His kingdom, I think their effort is meaningful.
Every time I watch an episode I think: He is the God of the universe. He could have done ANYTHING He wanted. But each day He woke up and chose to spread Truth in Love so much so that He willingly walked to the most painful and underserving death ever known to mankind just so that we could be reconciled to God.
We are completely unworthy and undeserving of His love. How do I know? Because every day--without fail-- I fall short of His holiness. I say, think or do something that hurts the only man who ever loved me enough to literally die for me--not necessarily out of open rebellion, but because I simply cannot help myself. Because I am a sinner who would never be able to be wholly righteous and Christ-like on this side of heaven. BUT, every day I wake up feeling grateful for His Grace and Mercy that keep me alive, for they know no bounds.
Every other love pales in comparison to the love Jesus has for us. This show is but a reminder this fact.
Love this! The Chosen is wonderful, as it gives an insight into what Jesus’ and the Apostles’ day-to-day life might have been like. I have gotten tears in my eyes more than once watching the episodes. And the cast is perfect, every person!

Your intended impact is exactly how I've felt watching season one and the beginning of season two. Being able to see for myself what Jesus did through his disciples makes me feel healed/redeemed, as well as having a significantly better understanding of why Jesus was here in the first place. I grew up in church but I was a athiest or lukewarm i watched the first few episodes of season one and im full on christian preaching messages to people. thank you i actually believe in jesus and god now

Tears of emotions watching these episodes, really pulled from the depths of my heart. Can't even imagine how it must have been to be living in the times of when Jesus physically walked the Earth. Even if I lived on the other side of the world, I would feel so warm inside just knowing he was breathing on the planet somewhere at the same time as me..
Now it's possible for Him to live inside your heart.
You wouldn't have known him back then. He taught in a very small geographic area and he was mocked and ridiculed his whole life. Back in those days, people believed in many, many gods, so it was really hard for people to believe there is only one God. Probably the Jewish people were the only ones and they still don't believe in Christ.
