The strength of the opponent you manage to beat, shows how good you really are. And man those two guys were good. I feel privileged having seen them fight, when they were in their prime. I was not a Schumacher fan, for whatever reason... But my all time top 3 is; 1. Senna 2. Schumacher 3. Hakkinen I was a Mika fan, but Schuey just had something non-tangible that made him a better driver. But in all seriousness, the way Mika recovered from his accident at Adelaide in '95 to have the career that he did is astounding. It's such a tragedy the way that Michael has had his life compromised due to his skiing accident.
I think it was shame that Mika's engine blew in USA, otherwise he might have won that race, and the fight could have then be decided in the final race...I mean even if Mika Had one that race in USA, Schumi would have finished 2nd and won the final to races, so he would have been champ anyways in the last race at Malaysia

That's your opinion but I don't share it, when Schumacher was in his younger years he was already competitive to race against the legendary Senna. Trough the years he became even better then Senna. He said once Senna was better then him becuase he was lead by his emotions but still knowing he surpassad him that's makes Schumacher better.

Hakkinen is not the only who had a unreliable car, when Schumacher joined 'scuderia' Ferrari it was a very bad team and the car was not competitive. Schumacher also had engine failures and alot more. But we can argue all day but the fact is Schumacher was near to win 10 Wc and is the 7 Wc and he will be remembered as the best driver.

But in 1999 with the fastest car in fiel 5 races because Schumi began to close up and I'm pretty sure when Schumacher hadn't the accident in Silverstone he had win for sure. In 2000 Schumi was back and defeated Hakinnen. Schumacher is much better as you see.
