Finally watched this film just now and this was the moment in the film that cemented it as a top film! Absolutely criminal how this doesn’t have more views, a very emotional piece

This movie was great; i really have to watch the original. I loved how the viewer got to appreciate all of the characters. The characters were just so complex yet “simple.” The antagonist really reminds me of the Man in Black.
Wish someone would play this track while fighting down the hillside on CoD: MW 2. Having to fight your way outnumbered and on the run to get to the evac....only to be betrayed in the end. Seems fitting.
Who the fucking hates this masterpiece , is even better than Django and Marco Beltrami s song is the best of the decade, something that Maestro Moriconi would be proud.

He already made amends. Dan was dying in the ground and he badassly still got on the train and whistled knowing he would escape so long as it was after the train left so Dans family got the money. Great ending

He comprend that Dan, a one leg veteran and now rancher who struggles to keep his ranch for his family, try so hard to hand over Ben to the law. And at the end it was no longer for the bounty money but to teach his son (William) the only example he can gave him on how to be a good man while nobody else had the courage to mess with Ben´s gang, not even the lawmen around, because he was starting to like Ben over his father and to think his father was pathetic, a lesson that Ben never got form his mother so he decided to help Dan, even against his own gang who tried to save him from the Yuma prison

A hidden masterpiece, this deserves an 8 on IMDB but i'm glad it has a higher rating than the Hollywood-friendly original.
2022 and here I am, remembering this AMAZiNG movie. Always going back to it, a true gem. One of the last great westerns, from Hollywood.
