My father passed away yesterday, I haven't had a relationship with him since I was 6 years old so 42 years without him in my life ... But this was one of his favorite movies & theme music, I used to sit with him and listen to this , so today I'm listening with a heavy heart , goodbye father I love you ❤

I've just ended the dollar trilogy because I know how my dad was a huge fan of western movies, he passed away 3 years ago and only now I'm trying to get interested in what he loved and I've just gotten into an extraordinary universe, we played the ecstasy of gold for his funeral and there had something so mystical about it... may your dad rest in peace.

Standing 6"4 - tall and lean, with crystal blue eyes, a squint and a cigar dangling in the corner of his mouth...the scruffy stubble and his poncho over his 6 shooter...when I saw Clint in the Good the Bad and the Ugly...as a young boy - I thought he was the coolest, baddest M**ker I had ever seen on film. I have been a fan ever since. He is over 90 years old now - still acting, directing and full of life and energy. Respect to you Mr. Eastwood.

Just don't go in expecting seriousness... most spaghetti western movies are all about fun and laughter. Except when they're not - then they're veritable gut punches (like, for example, "Duck, you sucker!" with Rod Steiger and James Coburn - awesome movie, but hits right in the feels)

He was just one of many. There were others before him. Certainly the first for spaghetti westerns though.

The best western of all time. And the music of Ennio Morricone help make it such a success. I just watched the Danish orchestra perform it here on you tube. What a complex piece of music it is. It was simply amazing watching them perform. What a cast of amazing actors along with a dramatic soundtrack together can produce, a Western masterpiece.
You know I was just about to watch that too.... I read an early interview with Syrje from system of a down., And he mentioned this this guy and this music.

Born in 79, as a kid was introduce to this by my father and uncle.. It still rings in my head this masterpiece, actually now I am in US, back in India was dreaming about going to this place.. I am. Near Arizona in phoenix will travel here soon ❤

It was crucial for Tuco's kind of bad to be played off of Eastwood's virtuous bad and Lee Van Cleef's cold, vicious bad. Because it made Tuco the most human and relatable of the three.
