I see a lot of young people, 18-30, on stage and in the crowd. It is very comforting. I'm closer to the age of Hobbs and I also had a death metal band in 1990. It's the new generation, the ones that me and Hobbs didn't know before 2010.
Frank should be proud. He created the new standard for brutal death metal vocals and gutturals. He gracefully chose to pass the torch to a new generation of vocalists to carry in the Suffocation name.

Not to mention the original drummer for Disgorge is now their vocalist…AND Derek Boyer played bass for them for a while.
I won't even get mad if none of the original members are in the band. As long as their brutal fucking songs keep getting played around the world to fans both old and new. This is the level of awesomeness that Suffocation has achieved. One request tho. Every vocalist must perform the The Chop at every show.

Most of Suffocations classics were written by Doug Cerrito actually.

@@blackmetalbastard120 I still have Conqering the Thrown cd origanal print, and yes those riffs are lit up...it is rumored the first few Suffo alblums were written under the influence of PCP and other lovley chemicals...early 90's death metal is the best. \M/

This line up is one of the best that has ever worked together. Ricky does an awesome job too, but this is what you get when you get to heaven. Frank deserved to retire. Terrence can too. Suffocation is elite. Plain and simple.

Great sound!! The haters base their comments on the look of the band. That's very weak on their part. The music (the important part, remember) is fucking tight. Awesome band.

WTF! Back in the day, no one would be standing around. The pit would start as soon as the first riff started and several rows deep. We were part of the reason the Dallas Starplex changed its headlining bands because the heaver the band, the more we tore shit up. At the Starplex back in the 90s, we tore out the first four row of seats to Pantara and started fires in to grass lawn area to Metallica. Metal will never be the same.
Editing is horrible in my eyes, 70% of the time the vocalist, 20% the crowd and 10% the other band members are shown. Me, as a guitarist, I wanna see a guitar when a solo is been played at least.
