Car tip: locking atleast the passenger side while you pump gas. So when your back is turned, no one opens the passenger side door and takes your purse. Oh and I actually bought the binder organizer from your other car video! What did you put in the little zip locks?
100% true!! A girl in my area was kidnapped and murdered bc they were able to sneak in on her passenger side while she was getting gas. Please, pay attention to your surroundings while pumping gas!!
I was always taught to turn your car off and not use the phone too. Was also taught that the static of getting in and out of your car while pumping can be dangerous too. Hahaha

The static issue is very real. If you have even a do of gasoline in your fingers and you spark electricity starting your ignition you better believe you will be caught in fire. I've seen this happen. It's no old folks tale...

Oh my gosh. My husband was watching Myth-Busters last night and they were testing the phone around a gas pump! I also worked at a gas station during college. Really the no phone thing is just to make sure that you're paying attention to your surroundings. The really big thing to remember is that you shouldn't get back in your car while pumping gas. The reason why is because you can create a static charge when getting in and out. If that static isn't released by 'grounding' (touching) yourself to the car then it could create a spark when you touch the gas nozzle again (static + gas fumes + air + metal = fire). If that were to ever happen, just let go of the nozzle. Don't try to pull it out of the car because then you would be adding fuel to the fire, pun intended.

No it’s still the same for the next 6 months!
The battery may explode for any reason so that is why it is said at times. There has been no known incidents regarding that though. The main reason is it may cause distractions while you are pumping the gas.

im glad you figured everything out with the airbnb. Next time though if something similar happens dont go to a lawyer first, youll waste your money. Youll have to pay them more than what you will get back. contact the seller, listing first, if that doesnt work then you contact the company. follow the chain of command. i think that was jumping a little bit

The same thing happened to me this summer when we booked a beach trip for my boyfriend and I. It was 2 weeks before the trip when I found out and I had booked it 6+ months in advance. It was extremely frustrating that places don’t list age restrictions before you book.
