Secret Invasion Season 1 Episode 4 review where it actually improves! No-one is more surprised than I am, yes the first half is the same quality as previously but when there's one good scene in this show, I'll take it! We get Samuel L Jackson actually acting in a scene without him getting humiliated for once, there is a bit of action at the end and some accidental comedy that made the 2nd half entertaining. I don't expect this to continue in later episodes, but there might actually be hope! Fools gold at the end of the tunnel 🤣But what did you think of what you saw? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)
If they were in Star Wars they must do Marvel..And if in Marvel must do Star Wars!!
If Samuel l Jackson's character in this show was more like Jules from Pulp Fiction, it would be a hundred times better. Baby steps though, baby steps.
Have they not heard about the oval room or NATO or the Gsummits how s secret service or PAs??? How the hell is the president not aware of anything except through war machine??? Does he not attend these events??? Is the president Joe Biden??? War machine isn't even with the military anymore, he left in endgame or was it infinity war after being wrongfully regretful about siding with the accords... How the hell did he get so intimate with the president???
And if the president doesn't know, how about the legislative arm like the committees in charge of military affairs or secret intelligence or foreign affairs??? How about the Pentagon or the CIA or the DOD or NATO ambassadors???
Do they think the president is the be all and end all of everything that happens in the US??? That if he doesn't know anything, the country's government won't know as well or if he doesn't approve on something, the government won't do anything against the scrolls??? This is a childish view on politics, they actually think the president is a monarch, this doesn't even work with a monarch or a tyrant...
What the hell??? How can a story be this bad??? Did they not go to school or have they not read anything??? How can they give a political spy alien invasion concept to someone who's this lacking at everything politics or even government and no one even questioned it all the way from the start till now... Has the entire Hollywood sacrificed their brains to the abyss??? How can someone be so dense???
My god, Hollywood keeps finding new depths to sunk into... It's like each stories are trying to one up each other for the title of the worst ever that the stories descends even further into the abyss with each story released as the new one is even worse than the previous one... Gone are the days when she hulk was the worst ever, that was so long ago, last year December... Ghostbusters and captain marvel are now ancient in comparison...
My god, you have to be aware that you're making something this bad otherwise you're medically retarded...
And this was caused by the shills or positive reviewers (I can't even call them critics) and the squishes who think that reviews should have praises in them even though it's for something very very very rudimental and basic in a shitty story... They tell their audiences to either see the movie or decide if they wanna... This means they were rewarding and praising Hollywood for mediocrity which made Hollywood think it was a success and use it as their winning formula as they double down on it and the new stories get worse and worse following that downward trajectory as these shills and reviewers keep telling their audiences to reward Hollywood for their mediocrity even more and Hollywood keeps on descending into the abyss with every new story and here we are, a story in which the writers don't even know how the government of their country works handling a political story...
Hollywood has passed the threshold, they have fallen beyond retrieval... There's no helping Hollywood out now... They're done...
Where is the real war machine??? Is he dead??? Did the scrolls kill him??? What's happening in this world??? How does the scroll operate???
For those caught in the blip it was basically an eye blink and they were back, except five years had elapsed.
Fury should be exactly the same hardass that he was before the blip.
Gotta love how Rhodey and Fury are now “brothers” despite never talking to each other in the 15 years of knowing each other…

At this point its like a feminist refusing to accept that the problem in every one of her relationships was herself.
So…basically, just any feminist then! 😂
What did Disney-Marvel mean by this?
Are not the Kree a metaphor for the patriarchy and the Skrulls oppresed righteous justice warriors who are a metaphor for feminists@@80krauser ? There are millions of feminists trying to end civilisation and they have infiltrated everywhere.
The women you refer to aren't feminists, and did no work to achieve the benefits real feminists earned.

Is it really possible in the MCU? I don't think the tone suits it. They'd need to drop the quips, raise the stakes, have excellent writing. The MCU has never had that. Not even in the best of MCU: Cap 2, Civil War, Infinity/Endgame. They'd have to have made the entire phase 4 darker, more serious, and coordinate it all. None of this eternals or FFH crap.

Disney's twisted moral in MCU is absolutely disgusting.
Really? And is that why Nazis are demonstrating at the gates of Disney World? To teach them what "morality" is all about?
Disney hasn't had any good values, since the 1990s,or even before that.
@@Willie_Jones76 "The mission of The Walt Disney Company is to entertain, inform and inspire people around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling, reflecting the iconic brands, creative minds and innovative technologies that make ours the world’s premier entertainment company." - The Disney company mission statement.
Now, this may not be the most altruistic mission statement. After all, like all companies, their goal is to make money, but at least they don't pour heavy metals into the rivers or greenhouse gasses into the air. They don't pay politicians to stop alternate forms of clean energy, to deny global warming, or to make it easier for children killers to get automatic weapons. Sure, they're not perfect, but there's far worse out there.
@@DoctorZisINJust because there are worse companies out there doesn't give Disney a pass, nor does it make some of the stuff they have done less severe.

I did the one thing you shouldn't do with a Marvel show and started to think about it, especially the whole "I'm unhappy because I can't be myself" thing skrulls do on this show.
The showrunners for secret invasion will have you believe that the skrulls that want to nuke the word are an exception. If the skrulls are not the evil invaders of words they are in the comics so i must asume that they are the space equilavent of the jehovah's witness as in, spreding as far and wide in the universe is part of their culture.
If you have a shape-shifting species whose whole "stick" is entering already inhabited planets and using their shape-shifting powers to live among the locals peacefully. Their culture would naturally evolve in such a way that, you choosing a local image for yourself and accepting this new body as the new you is pretty much the norm.
The " Im sad cuz i can't show people the real me " trope, works with Mystique cuz mutants a fairly recent development in human are society and she is one of a kind. But skrulls are an entire species that have had hundreds of thousands of years to get used to being shapeshifters that can't show people " the real you ".
For future reference, the word you were looking for is spelled "schtick." Or, as Wikipedia helpfully informs me, "shtick." Whatever.
@@boobah5643 Thanks
The other thing about the "I can't be the real me" Well its no longer strictly true after the battle of New York. The world is aware of Aliens, theres an entire Asguardian colony on Earth.
Theres nothing stopping them from abandoning their shapeshifted forms and presenting as a fresh group of newly arrived refugees and asking for a place to live in exchange for sharing their technology openly.
If the writers never end their strike, does that mean we'll never be subjected to shows or movies like this again? What if the actors strike forever? Suddenly I'm hopeful for the future!😂
Don’t hold your breath. Even if those untalented hacks get what they want, the writing for shows etc will stay the same most likely. 🤦🏻♀️ But I’m hoping that the both the writers and actors continue to strike. Maybe it will force the studios to hire younger and better writers.
No see what most ppl dont get is wroter strike is GOOD for us. See all these young "diversity" writers who hollywood has been highering over experienced (mostly white) talented writers. These diversity wroters and pushers of "the message" dont have the career to survive a strike. So a lot of not talented writers will havta find new careers. While exp long term wroters with credits will weather the storm. Strikes are usually good for workforce all around. @@KitsuneAdorableYou mean, writers straight out of college, with their Gender Studies & Critical Race Theory degrees?
@KitsuneAdorable see thats the thing these diversity higher non talented wroters cannot wether the storm of a strike. And younger isnt always better. The talented qualified writers deserve the jobs and fair pay and thats what they r fighting for. Trust me experienced writers hate this "the message" crap too. Its only extreme leftists in their bubble highering based on that. Strike can only help weed out these non talented fools
@alexfriedman918 exactly younger is not always better. Really its the talented wroters who've been passed over n offered b.s. pay because they happen to be white or not "diverse" enough who are going to survive the strike. They hate this young/and extreme non talented writing too
My biggest problem with this episode, was when Gravik reveals himself and stabs Talos, NONE of the other Fury-allied soldiers around them open fire on him... I mean, you saw Fury designate the alien guy saving the President as an ally, you saw one of your teammates turn into a whole different person and stab your alien ally, WHY are you ignoring it? HOW are you ignoring it?!
Cause they didn’t see. They are in the middle of a war. The only reason the other guy noticed Talos was cause he happened to turn around. Much harder to notice your enemy when he’s also not a green alien and can be mistaken for a human if your not looking for him
@@oXRaptorzXothat’s not how military works, let alone extremely high profile military personnel who’s job it is to protect one of the most important and influential people on the planet. That’s basically just saying “oh the world’s most highly trained and combatively acute soldiers protecting some of this planet’s most important people just wouldn’t notice such a person being shot, because they’re too busy doing their job to…do their job”. They have to portray the Skrulls as "good" because in Captain Marvel they were disney's woke analogy for mexican illegal immigrants coming into the US.
Funny thing is... in the comics the Skrulls aren't cardboard bad guys. Yes, they invaded Earth, but exterminating the Human race was never one of their goals. Some of them are actually nice people in general. Yes, Kl'rt and Paibok have fought Earth's heroes multiple times.... but they've also SAVED Earth from various non-Skrull threats.... such as the Kree. With all of the crapping on Nick Fury, all I was wondering was, who's the bait and switch? Who is going to steal all the heroics from Fury? Now we know.
When G'iah says to Talos, "Gravik has a plan, and it works," Talos should have replied:
"Firstly, it *won't* work, because, if all else fails, Earth has the f**king AVENGERS; and, secondly, it doesn't matter if it works, because wiping out an entire planet of people is EVIL."
"Based economy" is my absolute favorite running joke lol
So if Fury can't do anything without the Skrulls help, where were they with the Hydra inside SHIELD thing...?
We can't ask questions that requires an IQ above 45. Like where was the Skrulls when after the first Avengers movie, the Avengers found out about Thanos. You'd think the Skrulls would know him and warn Director Nick Fury about him. Or even how they think they are not free on Earth? Once the bench scene happened it hit me. The Skrulls are planning to nuke the planet because they have to be in their human looking form.
My response to that is; and? The Captain Marvel movie made it look like Nick Fury and Captain Marvel had all the Skrulls on a space ship and was going to find them a home. Ok that makes sense, and surely the Skrulls can find somewhere to live. But in this show, nope. Somehow they have been living here for 30 or so years, and now all of a sudden have decided to nuke the planet so they can live here. The entire plot makes no sense, the Skrulls reasoning makes no sense. How they didn't inform Director Nick Fury of Hydra, makes no sense either, or how the Skrulls and Nick Fury didn't have a contingency plan for the events that happened in Captain America and The Winter Soldier.
I haven't been watching. Are they saying the Skrull have been been in Shield since the beginning? A not a single one got tripped up by a injury or even a medical exam? Even the military gets their DNA recorded for body recovery.
@BoSmith7045 Yep. The Skrulls have been around since the 90s according to this show.
@@BoSmith7045 Yes, in episode 3 Talos tells Nick Fury while they are driving, that the Skrulls are responsible for Nick Fury's promotions and that means they are responsible for him becoming the Director of SHIELD. Its also told to us that they have been his spy network, gathering intel no one else could gain due to their shape shifting ability.
In the same episode we find out that Warmachine (or at least the Skrull looking like him) says that he has know about the Skrulls for 15 years.
I have watched quite a lot of Agents of Shield back in the day, funny no Skrulls in that either. Almost as if they never thought about it until this show...
There should be plenty of empty planets out there capable of sustaining the Skrulls. Especially since they can apparently survive in an irradiated environment...
Hell, will their technology they should even be able to create a space station or something similar to live on.
“So why do they go to earth,if they could go to other places”
“So the show can happen”
“Makes sense”
Hell, isn't Titan empty at the moment? They could have easily asked for the Stark Industries or some of the other super tech people of Earth to help rebuild the old Thanos planet and let all the Skrulls live there.
Thing is he was never broken after the blip. We saw him on the space station in that cutscene where you thought he was on holiday in Spiderman Far from Home. He was cheery and in a positive mood. So why is he broken now? He was fine.

Of course Don Cheadle’s Rhodey is a Skrull because the true Rhodey is Terrence Howard.
Skrull Impersonator: "The guy's called War Machine, right? Black Guy with short hair? I can do that."

For more use of the word, look up the Defenestration of Prague.
There's more than one.
They had to start numbering them.
By the way, what material are the Skrulls "masks" made of? I thought about hair, for example. If the hair is basically Skrull skin, you could simply ask every secret agent in your group to give a hair to test on. You cut the hair off and it would transform - like the removed finger in one episode - back into Skrull form. Simple and effective. A little bit annoying for bald men, but they could give nose or eyebrow hairs to check, maybe... Another point which shows the lazyness of the writers: In Episode 3 I guess, there was Samuel's wife in the kitchen, with original Skrull face, normal clothes and a metallic necklace. Which indicates that Skrull can't replicate metal. Okay? Now, here's the problem: In the next scene, when she has a human face, she wears ear rings. Metal. Which was not there a moment ago. So, what is it? Why film the actress with one piece of jewelry, forget the other stuff and then... whatever. Just skip this show. It is lazy and awful. Where was the person for ensuring quality on set??
This is Disney Marvel, you can’t expect them to give a crap about continuity between scenes while they can still abuse Fury’s character.
That quality control person, was there the whole time.... unfortunately that person was Victoria Alonso

I mean, you can find redemption for terrible actions. I believe Paarthurnax spent the majority of his life repenting his help toward his brother Alduin and worked in secret as far from civilization as possible. But, of course, that requires actually being sorry and a lot of dedication, patience, and care. Which Reeva didn't have.
Plus Paarthurnax had the question of “What is better? Disney is so amoral that all of their shows are hard to understand for normal people. Instead of having cultural sensitivity experts review the material they need “ moral experts” to review their films so it may be understood by sane people who are not lost in the California bubble.
💯🎯 Bingo!
Nerdrotic made that point sometime last year and it's surprising to me how often it's been proven since then. These movies might as well be written by aliens.
22:50 Hi Don Cheadle, we know, we know, Disney gave you a million per episode, difficult to say no. (he looked directly into the camera like "i'm not even trying" 🤣)
"They only time they should see her heart, is if Blade is holding it." Beautiful!
I'm so confused as to the timeline of this show. How long has Warmachine been a Skrull? Did the human Dr. Pricilla know Nick Fury before the Skrull woman took her form? When was it that Captain Marvel and Nick Fury took that space ship into outer space to find the Skrulls a home? I am not going to rewatch that movie, but I thought it was right after the the events of the movie, which means Nick and Captain Marvel went to who knows how many planets and none would take the Skrulls, and other planets where not livable. But we never get to see that and we are never told that information. So they have been on Earth for close to 30 years and the planet is livable, its breathable, they don't need any equipment to breath or grow food specifically for their biology; and the water is safe for them to drink as well. But once Gi'ah says they can't live in their own skin it hit me. These aliens are so mad, they want to nuke and kill everything on the planet, simply because they have to look like a human. The writers really want us to be so dumb, so devoid of morals, that they think the Skrulls are the "good" guys and are the victims??? What??
The sheer lunacy is astounding. This story feels more like it was original to take place on Skrullos and the Kree were to be the villains, the Skrulls to be the victims and opposed. But that is not we have here; no instead the writers gives us a Nick Fury that is so retarded he goes to a sociopathic woman more than once with intel; that woman who is shown to enjoy torture. Then he never goes to anyone else to relay highly valuable intel to about the Skrulls trying to nuke the planet. No one writers, really, no one at all? You couldn't have Nick Fury dropping off intel to Bruce Banner, or any of the Avengers? Or have Talos relay intel to someone he trusts that is close to Captain Marvel? What about having Agent Hill live way longer and you could have had her being a badass spy and giving information to Sky/Daisey from the show Agents of Shield, or hell even to Black Widow. Maybe Agent Hill gives Black Widow intel about the Skrulls plans and Natasha goes to Hawkeye and we get that cool moment that could have been a great show/movie; Hawkeye and Black Widow on an espionage mission.
Oh wait that is right, she died. So again in order for that to happen the show would have to take place at a time where Black Widow was still alive. But the only way to make that work would during any of the movies from the MCU. The writers nowadays have no talent what so ever to pull off something like that. So again the timeline for this show is so confusing. Stuff just happens, we have no clue how Gravik (the main villain) became how is is as an adult. So I have no reason to see his view point at all. Even though what we are shown him doing is trying to nuke the planet I would like to know how he got to that point. Every episode gets more confusing, "plot points" get more convoluted in every episode. Somehow the Skrulls are the good guys, even though most of the ones we have seen are part of a "resistance" and are trying to nuke the planet. Again, why are they in a "resistance?" Who are they being oppressed by? The Kree are not oppressing them. We see no Skrulls being trafficked, or forced to labor for humans, or Skrulls being experimented on, nothing. So the audience has no reason to believe the Skrulls are in any danger.
The Skrulls can shape shift into anyone. Which means they can literally free themselves of any oppressions they may face. Why has their not been any laws passed that places them as a protected class? Like how you can't legally discriminate against someone because of their skin, or their religion, their gender or sexual preference and so on? We are told several times there is over 1 million Skrulls on Earth, yet somehow they is no legislation passed to allow them to be in their true forms? Its not like the MCU Earth is not aware of alien life. Would their be evil people that would target the Skrulls? Yes 100%. Would their be struggles to bring in over 1 million of them? No? As we have seen they can eat and drink what we do. They can breath the air as well, so they is no need for equipment to make areas for them livable. Just America alone could easily fund this, or even Stark Industries. This is made to seem like it would be impossible to do, but its really quite easy.
I think Rhodey was a Skrull somewhere between Falcon & The Winter Soldier and this show, cause in his last appearance, he was wearing his crutches. But, in this show, he's not.
@@LunarSpiral1127 Ok thanks for the reply, that was something that threw me way off. I was trying to recall any setup of that plot, but I could not remember it.
Problem is you have smart characters being written by horrifically stupid and Evil "people".
@@KomboEzaliTe Yes that too. There are several smart characters and other I assume would be smart such as the Skrulls; that are really stupid, like CW level stupid.
Also, it’s funny to see that no one cares about the people who’ve been swapped. Like agent Bilbo Baggins, they only barely mention him in episode one, even aunt Robin did seems to care.
”uh yeah he’s a Skrull now“
“And where’s he, the real one“
“Oh, don’t know don’t care 🤷♀️“
A book you might like is "1000 Years of Annoying the French" by Stephen Clarke. Gives great insight into the history between England and France and does it quite humorously. Great video as always sir.
That sounds like my kind of book. History and humor. 👍
When I lived in the UK in the late 90s, there was a study between the British and French on what they thought about each other. According to the study, the French attitude toward the British was positive, mainly because of their sense of humor. The British, meanwhile, were like, "Eh, bunch of frogs."
I mean they are a bunch of frogs.
I totally forgot about this series already.
Same. I tuned out after the 1st episode.
I'm losing braincells hearing about this dumpster fire!🙄🤣
Defenestrated is a great word. I also happen to work in the fenestration industry 😂
Lol!🤣
With every episode getting shorter and shorter, I’m pretty sure the season finale will be about 15 minutes.
That shower scene was like the Sledge Hammer spoof of the Harrison Ford film Witness the episode is titled Witless. Hammer sees the shapely shadow of a woman showeing behind a sheet in the sunlight. He begins talking to her then the sheet is drawn back, its actually the woman's bearded farmer father.
Gotta love that the Skrull's highest ranking spy MUST be a woman masquerading as a man as well, probably in their fever dreaming minds they also thought this was a great 'gender questioning' moment for the additional virtue-w**k.
Az tortured himself through Batwoman and Gotham Knights

The sum of all fears should see
I'm here because all of Graviks aliens must be super human, because none of them died to become green aliens. Also, the reinforcements ignoring the president while trying to rescue the president is hilarious when Talos is killed. Shots fired between and flanking the solders, and none of them even notice. I'm shocked that the girl Danaris Queen of Dragons didn't show up to rescue the President (because WOKE show). I'm sure she'll rescue everyone in time. Maybe all of the green aliens just magically dodged all the bullets and not a single one got shot.
Well Disparu, I'm getting the "sucks ass" vibe that tells me you won't have to endure a second season of this show. With all the chaos happening at Disney right now, Feige will probably get orders from Iger not to waste another penny on this steaming pile of shit. It's ratings are in the toilet and Iger can no longer afford to burn money for crap. Sorry you had to endure the pain of this show to date, but I'm betting, like Willow and Gotham knights, the season finale will be the show's Swan Song. BTW: From what I hear.....Nick Fury is Black. Who knew? LOL
This series is She Hulk level bad at this point. Rhodey’s a Skrull with apparently no access to Rhodey’s armor, and all he and Fury have done in their scenes together is stereotypical “urban” attitude and manner of speaking, it’d be comical if it wasn’t so ridiculously cringe.
So if a Skrull impersonates a man and has sex with his girlfriend, is that a "Secretion Invasion"?
No, it's Wonder Woman 2
@@O1OO1O1👏
Everyone I've ever heard talking about how they'd just learned the word "defenestrated" is always so pleased to have learned it! :D That's the mark of a great word.
It's always nice to know there's a word to go with this scene...
Kuzco: You threw off my groove!
Guard: I'm sorry, but you've thrown off the Emperor's groove.
(Gets thrown out window)
Old man: Sorry!
I feel like the ending was pretty stupid though too. I mean Gravick has his primary objective in sight, it's literally right in front of him and the only thing standing between him and killing the president is a bewildered Fury who just emptied most of his clip... and he just runs away... at the sight of more guns, who we've established he's quite immune to. His entire plan hinges on this, this is the moment he should be the most desperate to see it through. Instead of that though he leaves the president in Fury's care who will undoubtedly inform him on what's really going on. Maybe the skrulls could continue to bet on the whole "no one will ever believe you" idea and continue the whole secret subterfuge thing... I mean it's not like Gravick just left an alien corpse that would prove the veracity of such claims just laying on the ground like three feet away or anything...oh wait fuck.
Somewhat unrelated to the overall story but, doesn't Roady need to use a special device to walk because he got paralyzed before or did he get overcome that? I really don't know and I've not been keeping up with Marvel that well.
Love how you give credit where it’s due, mate. It gives your roasting far more credibility.
Anyone else super excited for the upcoming review on ‘The Marvels’? I’m genuinely excited and cannot wait for this movie to come out to watch all my favourite CZcams channels do reviews on it
The hate is strong with them all!🤣🤣🫡
💯Bingo@alandouglas2789!🎯🤣
all i can say is that movie is probably going to be stomped over and over again because of how bad it will be.
Emilia Clarke has GORGEOUS EYES.
26:56 "Fury is here!" Haha he sound so annoyed or something. Like "bro, just walk away old man..." 😂😂
"I am useless without you." -Nick Fury
Emilia is looking more like Daenerys Tarheroin.
I just noticed that she is the same lady who played his mother and "unbreakable"and also in " Glass"
Because of Disparu wondering at the end on why this was somewhat better than the others, I consulted the credits. The only thing different was that it was credited to just one writer, Brian Tucker, who had cowritten the other eps. He cowrote the first one with the showrunner, Kyle Bradstreet, who has also written the last one with him. There does not seem to be word yet on who wrote ep 5, so there's no telling if there's hope for next week!
"I always wanted to use the word 'defenestration' in polite conversation." Alana Bloom in 'Hannibal'.
Based on my knowledge of explosions from this show, the body count must have been 4,000.
6000 a actually

I know, right! The hate reviews are the best!!!🤣🤣
Is there a reason the President of the United States rides in a vehicle less-well armed and armored than the one Nick Fury himself had in "Winter Solider"?
Honestly, Fury's melty face... when I first saw it I thought it was a 'The Flash' ad that I'd missed.
Gravik actor is new Bob Marley more wooden acting coming soon
Thank you again for watching this garbage so I dont have to... LEGEND!
Bro wtf happened to Emilia Clarke? She went from hot 30 something to gross 50 something in like 2 years
I don't watch these shows, but I love your channel. I know enough about Batman that your Gothic & Castiel review was hilarious. I once watched Agents of SHIELD (my only Marvel exposure) so I know a bit about Fury. And I don't need more to enjoy this. You are so entertaining!!
This is the MCU, aliens aren't axactly a question any more.
The ease of space travel and availability of energy should have bigger consequences than Electro getting tingly, but that's another topic.
There's absolutely nothing stopping skrulls from integrating with humanity as legitimate refugees
Jackson must be almost homeless to do this show
Probably under contract. They have issues like we all do, they just get paid more.
Wait so the Asgardians were given a place to love so why isnt the same done for the skrulls
I’ve been eagerly expecting this review lol. The show sucks so badly I just cancelled D+ but thanks to you still looking forward to new episodes but prefer your interpretation. Thank you for turning 💩 into gold
Why cancel it? There's more and better content on there beyond these shows
Ex: I finished watching Spiderman 90s, something I haven't seen since I was a kid and it was great
@@ninjanibba4259 I never use it. At this point I feel recoil just seeing name Disney. I only got d+ for marvel and Star Wars content yet they’ve just released dud after dud and at this point they’ve pretty much ruined all the characters I like and focus on ones I never enjoyed at all while aggressively forcing failed comic characters while somehow both ignoring and demonizing actual fans and their feedback. Feels more like corporate propaganda . The nice thing is, as entertainment crumbles, at least it’s so terrible it’s funny
The rise of fascism and authoritarianism will be less funny
It still baffles me that people say that the show so far is ok when it's absolute dogshit
We were living in hope it would improve. That hope died with Talos. I’m done. This was Marvel’s chance to win back lapsed fans and they blew it. It’s like they wrote a spy show that 5 year olds would understand.

The Slug Joke slained me.... 😂😂😂😂
Imagine if Disney just spent billions of dollars on charity instead of all the horrible movies they released. Both the world and their brand would be in a much better place.
That's not how capitalism works
The Skrull's must be really picky about which planet they want to live on since there have been multiple planets shown in the MCU that they could use.
Well now I need to add Disparu to my prayer list along with Az (Heel vs Babyface) and Thorius (Thorius Unlimited) to save their mental facilities.
It's not Santa, it doesn't work like that
Talos in the only character that I pay any mind too when I watch the show..Ben's Charisma and live delivery just overpowers the bullshit enough for me to care. Sadly, the show still sucks major balls and without him, well...
Even in these short clips the quality of his acting stands out. Though that is easier when everyone else puts in zero effort.
@@BetaRayBill32 He really is a very underrated character actor..he was a shining beacon in Captain Marvel.

A lot of the time, 'Tubers' go out their way to split hairs when reviewing movies or shows. Disparu doesn't strike me as one. Plus, he does it with panache. Secret Invasion deserves every punch.🙏

Disparu associating Nick Fury's Skrull wife to Disney Modern Remakes is hilarious.
The scrull were kicked out of 109 planets and yet don't see how they're the bad guys
Talos breaking armored glass with his fist rhymes perfectly with Fury's HYDRA ambush scene from Winter Soldier for me.
