Outside of the normal draws of reaction videos, I come here for 3 reasons.
1) Simone is as cute as a button in her look, mannerisms, and dialog.
2) George is funny in a grounded and practical way that is just great.
3) The comedy dynamic and chemistry between the two of you is super fun.

except for his bad attitude about american patriotism. i'm a retired marine vet. not expecting george to chear or clap in agreement, just show some simple respect. i can think of two films off the top of my head, "independence day" and "armegeddon" where geoge looked so annoyed during the patriotic scenes, he was fit to be tied. i'll check your reactions to the two "top Gun" to see if my theory holds true. i suppose one can say george is being honest with his reactions... because clearly he doesn't seem to have much restaint left before he needs to set fire to the American flag. and you know what, george? We don't shoot you for that. you have that right. So, why so angry and disrespectful?

I generally hadn't liked the 2-person reaction channels. It's often like one person is dominant and enthusiastic and the other is there for the free cake or something, or it's an obvious hostage situation. But you guys changed that for me. In the past 6 months I've discovered you guys and also TBR and his wife and suddenly you are both in my top three! You guys are funny, charming nerd-folk and I appreciate you. Cheers!

I got into movie reaction channels during the pandemic, and I found you guys relatively recently. I have to say you guys have quickly become my favorite movie reaction channel! Major shoutouts also to Popcorn in Bed, Shan Watches Movies, and Ashleigh Burton. It was great to see you guys present on Cassie’s awards show!

re: Who draws views... Simone is cute as a button and has excellent TShirt tastes (read: critrole) but the channel vibe is very much George and Simone bouncing off each other while sharing their experience. Not all reaction videos have that going. And yes. George's thumbnail game is on point.

Loved your Good Will Hunting reaction and would definitely recommend more Robin Williams dramatic roles like Dead Poet Society and One Hour Photo. Yes! I also second Dead Poets Society. I sometimes get it mixed up with School Ties, but that's also a great film I'd recommend to them.

Most reaction channels are either someone on their own or a group of people. Two people feels like the perfect balance, you have someone to bounce thoughts off of without it being overwhelming having a group of people talking at the same time. Plus it's great you also have chemistry and banter and are legitimate friends.
Also Simone is hilarious.

As an older person (and fellow Canadian), I look forward to younger people watching films/tv and listening to music for the first from my era. There is a reason why we sometimes think things were better back then when compared to stuff today. It's not about the effects, but storytelling and artistic talent. I am OK with the different POVs due to changing social values. That is part of the fun. The past happened and it helps you understand the present.

You BOTH add equally to this channel and I turn up for both of you. My favorite reaction channels are 2+ people (You too are definable in that list) The way you can bounce ideas about a lot of each other or just, in general, have a conversation about what is happening instead which comes off much more naturally.
I have noticed a lot more with 1 personal reaction they seem to either overdo the commentary by the feeling they need to stop and talk for 10 hours to fill in the gaps where otherwise there would be more back and forth, or they sit in silence for too long because they don't have a partner to say something to then and spark that conversation.
Both of you create a great mix and that is exactly why I come here

I watch because Simone is adorable and funny, while George seems like someone I would trust as a raid leader in WoW which is the biggest compliment I can give someone. I watch you both because you are smart enough to pickup on things most reactors miss but are cool enough to laugh at a silly movie.

Also, I just have to say this because of the question you guys got about watching things on computers. I watch movies and TV shows on my computer more than on my TV. My computer screen is actually better than my TV haha, and as long as your chair is comfortable I don't see why watching something on a computer would diminish the experience.

On copyright... I think the thing about reaction videos for me is getting to re-experience something I enjoy through another's eyes. You can't go back and watch something for the first time again. But you can kinda get that watching someone else watch it. And it also fits that shared experience feel that you get from movie theaters or watch parties. For that reason - I tend not to watch reactions to things I don't like or haven't seen already. And sometimes reactors get me to go and get the full version of something I haven't seen for awhile but now remember enjoying. I've never watched a reactor do a video and go "oh well - I'm never seeing that on my own."
Exactly this, my wife doesn't get how I can watch these but its about rediscovering that first watch and sometimes see others' takes on things!

I was never one for react videos, but I stumbled upon her Star Wars react when they were still new, before she'd done any other movie and her channel had just hit 20 000 subs. I gave it a go and have been following her since, but never branched out to other react channels until I found your's just a few days ago, and now I've been bingeing 50+ of your videos in just a few days, and subbed and have the bell clicked, saw your Final Destination today just hours after posting, as soon as I got home from work.

Fabulous chat session guys! I was lucky enough to get to see RED CLIFF at the cinema, and thoroughly enjoyed it - then I discovered that I'd only seen half the movie, and managed to get a copy of the movie in its proper two part presentation, and loved it even more. Of all the movies you've watched I enjoy sharing and re-sharing Dodgeball. I have the film and it's not one I watch a lot, but there's so much joy to be had from your reactions to that movie. Rip Torn was brilliant, Vince Vaughan gained experience points and between this movie and Happy Gilmore I found a real appreciation for Ben Stiller. Good luck with the channel!!

CZcams kept recommending me your videos and I never watched them because there was only one person on the thumbnails (I tend to enjoy more group reactions).
