- installed new Trickflow (Pac Racing) springs and Titanium retainers, compared the weight to my old Lunati Spring package that had tool steel retainers. Lapped in all the valves and getting these heads back together!

Weight is everything in the valve train.
@@black88coupe yeah, I think trying to get lighter valvetrain components when you can is worth it, eapecially if you want to turn some rpm
Good stuff vrm, I think one of the best things I did with my 409C, was Ti intake, and exhaust valves. Good luck
Thanks Tim, hope you and your family had a great 4th!
Nice
Thanks!!
I use a PAC LS style spring in mine with titanium retainers. Excellent spring package. I’m lucky that PAC isn’t far from me so getting parts is pretty easy.
@@black88coupe awesome!
Hey VRM....Can't go wrong with lighter and stronger Bro!
I agree! Thanks OG!
any little bit helps.
for sure! Thanks!
Are those 170 heads for your 349?
yes, they are ported to a 180cc though, Big Dog porting did them for me back in 2020, been running them for 4 years, car has trapped 130 mph so I think they are fine for my needs today, do want to go bigger in the future but Bidenomics is not working well for my car parts fund! LOL
@vrm86gt I kno I was working ALOT more when Trump was in office
@@vrm86gt OK, makes sense, sw the 170 on the end and was wondering.
