Fun fact, many juniors fail the transition to pro because of this reason. Has nothing to do with taking drugs and whatnot. Sometimes you won't see results for years. @@josephshepherd7142 . Peace.. As I did olympic trials in 1984. it's apparent that Omnayala does not have comparative 400 meter speed concentration, for if endurance 400 reps are part of his endurance , going past 100 meters, not just for a 150 race, but if he would run a 300, as Noah Lyles possesses... Notice Noah's 400 ability to smoothly open up his stride pattern, which would have been on the back-stretche of a 400. Omayala would have went from his natural 100 meter form, after a 150, as he had shown in this race..very obvious..

To me the suprise was O,amyala leading all the way to the 100m. They need to breakdown down the running at 60m, 100m. Omanyala seemed to have a clear lead apporaching the 100m mark. I dont know what happened but Omanyala seemed to have come to a pit stop after 100m and just slowed down while lyles and Knighton were increasing their speed, or was the extra 50m too much for him.? I havee seen in his many races he does not slow down when approaching the 100m mark. Something happened to O.
