    Finally someone mentioned actual banging noise. It's so uncomfortable the ride but when I load my trunk with straight heavy polls that banging is dampened.

    I haven't had much luck with the allen key stabilizer bars. I've had to cut the bolt off. Stupid design. I've had the same noise problem with my car. I've inspected the problem before and haven't had any luck finding the noise problem. I'm going to change the bushing on the sway bar and hopefully that will take care of the noise problem.

    2018 toyota camry le hybrid. 120,000 highway miles. Had alignment done, new tires, brakes. Got the car back from repair station and when a i hit any bumps the rear end sounds like shocks are not secured properly and a rattle noise. I asked mechanic to look at, he says everything in good order, he wants to start by replacing rear shock mounts. What does jim say

    My biggest issue is finding suspension issues and noises. I can troubleshoot modules, communication lines, timing issues, shorts, opens but I have a hard time with suspension issues and vibrations. I do more electrical related issues then suspension at my shop. It's not by choice it's just what I get. That might be why but it drives me nuts. Like you said when the cars weight I isn't in play a lot of the time there's barely any movement or if any, but as soon as the cars weight comes in the play it's over.

    Jim, I have 2007 Toyota Camry. The rear right wheel when lifted has some scrapping noise and the movement is not free. Brake pads are good. Mechanic replaced hub bearing but it still sounds like a helicopter when on highway. I thought replacing caliper might do it, what do you think?

    Are the OEM units built with grease sealed in? How often does grease have to added to these Moog units?

    • @jimthecarguy
      @jimthecarguy  Před 4 lety

      The OEM don't have grease fittings. The Moog need to be greased maybe once a year depending on the driving conditions.
