I watched this disc last night; it's the HDR and color grade that make it special. Probably one of the better releases we'll get this year! If you're a fan then buy with confidence

I just received mine in the post a couple of days ago and it's another amazing set from Second Sight. Man they don't release stuff very often but when they do their sets are utterly fantastic. I always get excited to see what they will next put out.
Received the limited edition yesterday. Normally I don't go for special editions but this one was great. Also immediately watched the movie and it looks absolutely stunning. Together with the soundtrack it's very immersive.
Fans of this film have to check out Walter Hill's The Driver. It had a huge influence on Nicolas Refn. Lean and mean, with some of the best car chases in film history. Ryan O'Neal's performance as the stoic driver is fantastic. The fact that it got trashed by critics when it came out is so depressing, because it's clearly a damn masterpiece.
Loved this edition but I will have to settle with Blu-ray at the moment. Don’t have a 4K player or projector yet. But it will be there when I get my hands on it.
I'm so happy they did a great release for this film. I'll order the standard 4K once it is available again. The german 4K release in comparison was very disappointing.
Actually “4K native” isn’t really about capture format, but the resolution at which the film’s DI was completed. Many films shooting 4K and even 35mm aren’t 4K native simply because they were finished in 2K. For Drive, they actually went back and redid the whole DI in 4K from scratch, with a new 4K DI produced. So this release is in fact “4K Native”.

It irritates me it doesn’t Say UHD or 4K Ultra Hd on the spine it’s my only 4K that doesn’t have it Ik it’s not a big deal but it’s the ugly duckling in my collection

I did not pick up the Ltd Edition. But one Second Sight title I am looking forward to is The Hitcher.

I'd buy it but I don't like how massive second site make their 4k box sets. Need that shelf space

The resolution was never going to be stunning, since this movie was shot in 1080p.
I hate being a sucker for these videos that are essentially ads (no shade), but that thing is way too cool. Coolest packaging for the coolest movie.

However the driving is very disappointing. If you want a great driving movie check out; the vanishing point, bullet, the French connection and driver.
