Developed by Movie Interactive and published by Titus Software in 1991
The objective of the game is to fill up the hunger meter in each level by eating loads of food, which includes most of the enemies you knock out with your club!
Great graphics and very cool sound for the time.
#retrogaming - Hry
I have, no joke, had the intro song to this in my head on and off for the past 3 months and only by going through your playlist of Amiga games did I manage to find it. Thank you, AL82, for your enduring service.
just google Prehistorik next time
First purchased game on my A500+ 🎉 what a coolie 😊 Amazing sprites = bosses … awesome music. Only Amiga makes historik possible. It’s good like arcad. Legendary.
Als Kind war ich so Hart drin in dem Game 😂
Ich hab gespielt als ginge es um mein überleben
All the wild animals seem appropriately pissed off by the presence of our humble protagonist, who cannot even see them because of his hair, but relentlessly carries on in pursuit of noble goals. What an epic commentary on the ancient struggle of Man vs. Nature which still holds true to this day.
Prehistorik lowkey inventing dubstep 25 years before it actually became a thing
Hahhahaha you just killed me
At level one, there was a lot of food in the water in the first tunnel. You missed that. 3:53
True dat ❤
omg reupload pls
There's something I noted on some versions of the game: on level 7, when you hit human enemies, you could capture them. I think they censored cannibalism on the later versions.
That intro xD
When i was a kid i got scared because of that and never had courage after black screen to look at it and even hear that scary intro. Now i am 28 and i still feel unpleasant whenever i play this video.
@@BogoljubGottlieb i can totally understand xD
The family parrot at the end doesn't seem all too happy by the reunion.
When I was a kid, I called the snowman enemy Buli or Arctos on steroids ! XD
wonderful soundtrack in the "Lava Stage"
One of the many platformer games I never got to own or try out on the Amiga 500+/600. There were lot of titles I never got to try out, Ruff N Tumble, Killing Game Show, Cool Spot, Sleepwalker, Bubba N Stix, SOTB 3, Chuck Rock, Lionheart, Toki, Nicky Boom, Mr Nutz, Titus The Fox and Zool 2 and of course this game here, Prehistorik. were the main ones.
Games I did play/own included: Magic Pockets, Superfrog, Gods, First Samurai, Turrican 1 & 2, Leander, Rick Dangerous, Arabian Knights, Assassin, Jim Power, Risky Woods, Premiere, Golden Axe, Scooby & Scrabby, James Pond 2:Robocod, Flashback, Wolfchild, Captain Planet, Fire & Ice, SOTB 1 & 2, Batman: The Movie, Shadow Dancer, New Zealand Story, Bart vs Space Mutants, Zool..
The music was brillant...
Childhood
Muchísimas gracias. Estaba anclada en el nivel 2
Played this on PC but with Amiga much more . Amiga version is brilliant :)
Awesome😊
Ι remember being five and trying to get past the third level.
Zabawna gierka.
so in the end you catch your lady with another bastard? HAHAHAAHAH
If I don’t remember wrongly, one of the gaps in the beginning of the game we could actually go down without dying.
yeap, the 1st "pond" where there is no fish jumping
@@matcarfer later is another one 6:50 on the left from the ladder
this game was hard i renember
You missed all the bonus food in the first water tank!!!!!!
i was always wondering, who was that guy in the last scene, a lover, next husband?
Wingo Starr!
Very similar to big nose the caveman. Who copied who ?
After searched on CZcams for big nose the caveman , and looked both nes and amiga version... I can tell it’s not at so similar ... Is just settled in prehistory with an hungry caveman, but all the dynamics and the environment are totally different

The voice sample on the lava level 7 says "hola" and some other garbage. Absolutely unbearable. I played this with PC Speaker on DOS and music was "great".
Absolutely agree. In particular the level 7 was great with the internal speaker. Sometimes less is more :)
Pamiętam, grałem to na IBM PC 286
