What a beautifully decorated home! I like the kitchen backsplash and the paint color in the dining room!
Thank you so much! 😊
this is the best way to cook bacon. Taste great, easy clean up
I agree!

Thank you, Melanie.

I tried this method today for the first time as it's Mothers Day and all the family was here. I had a second tray as well where I cooked the bacon on a rack in a tray. We all agreed the wire rack method gave a better result with a good measure of crispness and a little more flavor in the meat. The first test on the baking paper alone I would not do again - it resulted in the bacon getting a noticeable fatty taste, not surprising seeing as it was frying in a sea of fat in the tray, not the healthiest way to prepare food. Thanks kindly for the video.
Thanks for sharing your method using a rack on a tray, I’ll have to try it! Sounds like a great idea as the fat drains away that way!
That was good with the. Clean up thanks god bless
Thank you, Russell!
I just thought of this tried it an well cooking decided to look it up lol.
Great minds think alike! 😂
Nice job Melanie
Thank you! 😊
So easy!!! Plus it made clean up a cinch!
Great to hear! I’m so glad you liked it!
I place my bacon on foil and cover it up with parchment paper, keeping grease from popping everywhere.
Great idea, thanks for sharing!
Good Idea❣️🔥❣️Not Cooked Long Enough For Me‼️😘‼️
Just add a few extra minutes to the cooking time. Watch it closely as it burns really easily. If you undercook, it’s easy to put it back in the oven, but if you overcook it’s too late :)
Has anyone tried doing this with another piece of parchment on top of the bacon too? I'm thinking it would reduce the spatter?
I haven't tried it, but I think it should work
Thanks will try it
I tried three times. I don’t like it this way. I don’t feel like it’s really any less mess.
Agree
pre heat yo what temp
What temperature???
400F
Thanks hun!

I've been broiling it ontop of tin foil this looks so much easier
Yes please try it, it's so easy! 😋
Oven baked bacon is so much easier. Just add more time in the oven for crispier bacon. I think some directions on back of package says 450° F
I love oven baked bacon! 450F is too high I think, it burns too easily
Another thing. She said 20 minutes, it took me 40.
So what does my guest eat?
Bacon? 😂
@@MelanieCooksRecipes ok, better make another batch lol
Crispier!
To make it crispier, bake for another 5 min
@@MelanieCooksRecipes thanks

Those do not look crispy
They were crispy! And if you'd like them crispier, just bake them for a few more minutes :)
400--fahrenheit ???? or Celsius??? FAN OVEN ?? or NOT ?? this is pointless to anyone outside the USA
All my recipes are in Fahrenheit. I'm using regular oven.
Celsius? Really? Is there common sense outside the USA? Lol
