Conor brought BIG money to the UFC, showed other fighters how to build a brand from your own name, and reminded everyone how exciting the middle weight divisions could be again.
Every single fighter coming through after him should be thanking him for what he did during that 2 belt run...even his biggest losses brought in a scale of pay+new network contracts for feature main event bouts that every fighter should be thankful for.

He ain't even the best of his generation. From before he started fighting to now the sport has increased about 30% on viewership. When Silva was at his prime, viewership was skyrocketing like never before. They literally went from. $4mil in debt to net positive in a year, before Conor was ever near the UFC.

Conor was champ champ at cage warriors when he signed with ufc plus he was a huge star but a fun little fact about conor is that he never not once even attempted to defend any of the titles that he won.

Imagine if you were Dana White in control of creating new superstars, and it’s a known fact that the UFC has taken consultation from Vince McMahon himself, do you really think that every single fight match is 100% legit? I really doubt it and I know that there’s a lot of storytelling going on and a lot of the belts are fixed towards a goal. And that goal is to excite you, not necessarily, letting the best man win. You would never make money doing that and that’s why the UFC does not do that anymore, and that is why I don’t pay to watch any UFC matches anymore
