I have wonderful memories about this Toys. And this were my last Toys before i was going older. My parents and my grandparents are never understood why i wish to my christmas-eves in the early 90s Toys from this. The last thing i had was a big puppet which you could putting out into pieces, this puppet had Velcro on the joints and it was so awesome to play with that. I wish i could buy in new condition the complete Toys from the incredible crash test dummies. It was on the same level like Mask and Bravestarr.
I had one !!!! My 4 year old is infatuated with air bags. And I remembered having one . Pushing the Lil air bag in the steering wheel . I showed him this video and he watching it now .
After 20 years, my mom asked me if those toys should go to the garbarge can. A blast of memories came in as I clean the blue, yellow and red car, and my 4 yo son love ‘em. But unfortunately most of the parts are missing. Such a shame they dont make them anymore
I had a blue one. The windshied broke as a feature and the air bag deployed. My dad used it to show us what happens when you don't wear your seatbelt. The arms and legs of the people came off and sometimes their heads. So not every kid owned one lol
30 years ago my mum took me round a friend's house whose son had one of these, but he wasn't around to show me how it worked . I was obsessed with the airbag, but I couldn't get it to go off, nor could I pull the cover off to have a look at it. I decided that it must be non functional, because there was no way a plastic toy could have a working airbag. I am stunned to see that it actually works, but still have no idea how from this video. HOW DOES IT WORK??!

To think of all the great toys I used to have that would today be collectors items but no longer have them because my father (God rest his soul) would throw my toys out because he thought I needed to "grow up." He used to do the same to all my drawings, saying it was stupid and that I needed to decide on what I wanted to do when I grew up. Mind you, I was 10 years old and he already expected me to know what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and would shoot down my dreams, so I stopped dreaming. As an example I used to be a fat kid, until I started getting sick and I was later diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, and one day when I was like 10 or 11 we were at the dinner table at my grandmother's he asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I said I wanted to be an Indycar driver. Rather than being encouraging he stated flat out, 'You can't do that." I asked why not and he said, "You're too fat. You would never fit into the car." After than I never again answered him when he would ask. I pretty much stopped dreaming.
I miss those toys! I used to play those all the time when i was kid. I almost forgot about that! Good old times wow

The detachable parts were the coolest function, but intern they were easily lost, very ironic!
