Those are exactly the images we had in our minds while playing with our 1/64 cars when we were kids.
Heck yea!!👊😹👍
Yes, absolutely...!!!
I used to collect 1976 nascar diecast 😅
Haha, absolutely true. Although living in England, dust was a rare commodity!
i burnt them with cologne after crash.
holywood taught me they need to explode after every crash.
You just brought to life what I imagined when I played with my toy cars as a kid. But where I was imaging what I saw on TV, you used the toy cars. It’s like a trippy thought experiment.
I was thinking the same thing. This video is epic 👍😁👍
Same
😁👍👊
Brings memory of my childhood.
Wow this video took my back 40 years ago when me and my little bro (rip) would smash our cars into each other in the back yard. Thank you for this I needed those memories woken up.
Right!?!, my thoughts exactly 💯, like the slomo and everything 😅🤣😂
Sooo trippyyyyyyy
The memories that just surfaced after watching this, they really hit hard. I miss the good old days playing with my model cars in the sand and dirt, no worries or stress. Just had to do 1 thing and that was to be a kid.
You had 1 job ... What happened!?!
That I can definitely relate
You had one job...follow the train.
Agreed.
Epic! Its like watching Dukes of Hazzard and CHiPs combined... With maybe a bit of A-Team in there! Awespme job!!
A little "The Fall Guy" too..
just watched dukes of hazard and then this was in my recommended after kind of creepy
@@eunosmedia90 your phone listens .... Mention something and pay attention to the ads you get , it's usually by the next day for me that I will see an ad for something I talked about...Cheers😃
Especially the A-Team with the powder blue Pontiac in the first scene! Fun fact: Many of the 'supporting role' vehicles in the first few seasons of the A-Team, especially cars that were crashed, were full-size sedans painted a powder blue color. This is because whoever managed the fleet for the show was picking cars up secondhand from the State of California fleet, likely on the cheap. What you were seeing were former state service vehicles getting wrecked for the first few seasons until the budget allowed a better fleet.
They used scale models for the Dukes jump scenes actually. Kinda like what NASA used to before cgi was good enough.
The slo-mo was so scene-critical to the young imagination, too😄 We finally have a soundtrack to go with it👍👍👍
And here i am, trying to keep my greenlights mint then there's this chad making awesome compilations with em. (still looking for that mustang ssp kek)
Dude. Same. Still mint in package. Sigh.
They probably displayed nice after some time in the dirt though…
@@ArcherMorningside That well-weathered look?
@@landryprichard6778 yea!
This is art! I can’t believe how legitimate some of these scenes looked. New sub, right here.
The shot at 1:30 was absolute PERFECTION!
Proof that everything comes alive with slow motion. If only that feature was available as kids playing with our hot wheels
I bet there is a production assistant from the 80s going "man we could have saved a ton on the budget!" Great video the only thing missing was a voice over from James Best saying "Inos! You dipstick!"
Eles usavam miniaturas para determinadas cenas, por exemplo; um Helicóptero chocadandose em um prédio.
They actually did do this in many movies before CGI. They didn't necessarily use match box cars. But they would use minature models and film them in slow motion.
"You see what you did to my vehicle!?!"
I was thinking #JackieGleason as #Sheriff-Bufford-T.Justice in Smokie and the Bandit saying "Offf!"
80s camera, 80s film, 80s TV...wouldn't have been able to tell the difference!
And not one full size classic car was lost during the filming of this! Excellent work.
The slow motion effect is absolutely amazing!!! Definitely makes it realistic compared to the real thing. Imagine making die cast cars made of aluminum foil and running them the same way? Just a thought. Loved the video. Amazing! Thanks for sharing.
that is what i wanted as a kid
You sir, are a madman and a genius. Please blow this up and send it to the film industry. This dude is what's missing from film today. Thanks for the video we all didn't know we needed.
My heart goes out to all the families of those injured or lost in this filming
Yes
These are so rad! Totally captured the visual playing in my mind whenever I -play with these- played with these as a kid.
Curious, what kind of equipment do you shoot these with? More specifically, what are you filming them with?
Lmfao that cross-out cover up in your comment
I saw what you did there.🍻😂
Its alright to admit it dude, i still do!
I still do this kind of stuff now every time I go outside and ram my toy car into walls
Camera name is in the description 😉
This is by far one of the best finds on CZcams. It's like watching CHIPS all over again.
You should find a wrecked king from cars 1 and do the rolling crashes. That would be cool to see.
As a collector of many hot wheels, matchbox, etc. I have to say this hurts to watch but also equally satisfying
Praise be to CZcams’s suggestions!!! We all imagined exactly THAT!! The fact you chose all that loose and dry dirt adds a lot to it!! Bravo!
This is amazing. I feel like a kid again, playing with my toy cars. All that's missing is the sound effect I made when the cars impacted and exploded, haha. The filming here is very cinematic. Nice work!
😭😭 like no
The lids flying open was the cherry on the top that sold it on a lot of these sequences, I thoroughly enjoyed this, my youth all over again!
Como cuando de niño aventaba mis carritos por las pendientes y veía como se iban, chocaban y daban marometas cuando se iban de lado; que viejos tiempos inolvidables.
There's so much to enjoy about this. Diecast models from an era not often focused upon, pretty good camera work, slo-mo, a good yard and environment for the crashes, and some sort of launch system for the cars that is giving them some serious force.
Well done!
This is amazing. Really felt like watching a compilation of crashes from old 70s car chase films. You should try recreating some classic car chase scenes and moments. You definitely have cinematography skills to do it.
This is the very best use of Greenlight diecast, great job editing and filming, superb imagination! I loved it.
I've worked on few movie sets and this is pretty cool. You have a good eye for scene setups, and the use of very dry dirt is very effective. Great job.
The dirt flying really makes this. I've been saying videogames need dirt effects during crashes, takes a mediocre damage engine and makes it bearable.
But man, great video. Now i want to get my hot wheels out and make a miniature town on a table, lol.
This video and there's a slow mo lego crashes video, it's like porn from before we discovered porn, haha. Just need some mini explosions
Wow I never thought about the lack of dirt particles in videogame accidents!!! That is exactly why most rally games don't look real
What is... Porn?
Good angle and cinematography
We gotta find a way to put small cameras inside the cars.
Nice idea
That's not possible any camera would be too big
maybe RC fpv cameras?
Very cool
It would be a long time to get something like that the cars are way to small even though I wish that to they would probably be so expensive to
This was actually pretty cool! I'm guessing that you laid down fresh dirt to get the dust up effect because if not for that I don't think it would have looked very realistic. Great work!👍
That was so satisfying. It's scratched a itch I didn't know I even had.
I'm 68 years old I love Hot Wheels ever since I was a kid. What a fantasy real life appearing Hot wheel video. If you have kids and they have that to play in and they are truly blessed indeed.
the one at 20 seconds was Hollywood's Camera angle of choice for car crashes! i loved this
The cops on The Dukes of Hazzard drove EXACTLY like that!!! I wish I could find a Van like that. It brought back 🔙 memories for me.
This brought happiness into my life
The dirt everywhere is what makes those clips epic
I am in my 50's and yet, this took me back to being kid...I REALLY WANNA CRASH SOME DIECAST! Great vid, off to look for more.
That neverending spinning blue VW absolutely nailed it! What a great video! Now put some 80s music over it.
The music in the background is hiring harder than the car crashes dude!
Upon second viewing, the color palette is blowing my mind.... The shot of the van is perfection.
OMG...and no stunt people were harmed in this!? 😂🤣👏👍... This was soooo soothing to watch!! Subscribed!!
It am always amazed watching These how real the crashes look, something we never see until slowed right down
Wow this is the best thing ive ever seen!!! Its like im watching my childhood in a whole new light!
The van going over the cliff - classic cinema!
Well done... So entertaining and enjoyable.
This is awesome, can't wait to show it to my Son. Love the 70s film filter, well done!
i love CZcams,, I'll start by watching news clips or whatever, and wind up watching Hot Wheels crash,, this was ultra realistic, and like most of the other comments, exactly what we all pictured as kids. Great video!
SO well done with the loose dirt, more detailed 1/64 cars (Johnny Lightening?), and the opening hoods! Great angels, great lighting, just too notch!
Perfekt with the New Retro Sound! Successful work!👍
That thumbnail looked like you took a frame straight from The Dukes of Hazard. I could even hear the General Lee's horn. Well done!
Car crunching sounds would've been cool but still GREAT fun to watch.
This is so cool!!! I remember doin' this with my match box cars as a little kid! The only difference was i had to do it in slow motion with em' using my hands and imagination!
Makes me wanna get em' out and play with them again!
That Union van going off the cliff was dowright profound.
This is epic. No idea how you managed to make toy cars move and crash like the real thing but it looks awesome. All you need are some explosions for the full effect (I rember how in A-Team, Fall Guy etc any light tap to an 80s land yacht would turn it into a spectacular fireball :)
Przezajebiste;)duzo pracy w to wlozyles,super efekt.pozdro z Polski
Some of these were better than the 80s movies. This makes want to go play in the yard, hose, water, mud and cars.
3.03 reminds me of that scene in close encounters chasing the UFOs of the road. Awesom work, I'm back being a kid in my fifties👍😂
I'm a collector myself I've been collecting 1/64 since 1977 when I was ten in 1984 I used to buy double so I could smash some of my vehicles to look as though they were in a crash
Tremendous creativity! Huge effort went into this, thank you, really really enjoyed it.
I can hear the neighbours: „oh he‘s playing with his toy cars again. Go get the kids inside“ :D
Nice work, looks astonishing!!
BRO THAT'S SO REALISTIC
Brings back so many memories!!!! Thank you!!! 🤗
Crazy cool! Not quite sure how you did that but that's pretty amazing. I'm guessing lots of loose dirt and some great slow motion camera angles. That's exactly what we all felt like when we were playing with our matchboxes when we were little. Truly an amazing job!
That was so much fun to see!!! Thank you!
Man those pursuit takedowns are awesome af!
I feel sorry for the paint on those lovely cars. Talking about scratches, dings, and chips, lol.
One can tell you had a ball making this video. Looks great!
Man, this music, this muuuussiiccc....like George A. Romero zombie movie. Simply brilliant.
I didn't know how much I needed this in my life
Proof that even scale model Dodge and Plymouth have the best crashes. Well done fx
Amazingly hard to stop watching. Well done.
The dry dirt makes it so realistic!
Best eight and a half minutes of my day! Thank you!
Love it 👍😁👍. This brings back so many childhood memories
Brilliant show. Cheers
This is simply STUNNING!
This is truly a masterpiece!!
This is amazing!
Is this what we imagined this looked like when we were kids? ..........dope video .....and the music is cool. 👍🏾
perfect use of old school/new school elements.
nice soundtrack.👍
So well done!!
Fantastic work.
These little cars can really move some earth! I don't remember my car crash episodes being this cool. LOL.
Was That Vanilla Sky I saw in the beginning? Brilliantly Awesome. Superbly Groovy.🤘
Brilliant.
Thankyou
Fantastic 2nd unit work!
This is awesome!
Mesmerizing!!!!! Love it!!!!
Great idea! Love it! Well done.
First off, You rule ... This movie is excellent, and another facet has been polished in the miniature car world
This is the greatest thing I have ever seen.
I must admit . . . This is very cool . . . The cars are great and I am a kid again!
This is really cool. I love how realistic they crash. It's probably cause the scale to weight ratio is similar to 1:1 scale
This is poetry...great job!
Amazing! Steven J Cannell would be proud!
These vids are insanely satisfying!
This is hilariously awesome! I have a few Greenlight cars like these. The car detail is spot on.
This brought a smile to my face
Thank you
You have a brave stunt grew. Hope none were seriously hurt!
Enjoyed it really cool!
1:46 was my favourite crash!
