That's great that you cut out for the bathroom fan. The cover installed on the outside looks nice. That looked a bit hard to use that right angled drill to cut the hole for the drain in the shower. Wow, applying coats of polyurethane to the tongue and groove pine boards for the ceiling in the bathroom. That will look so nice! The beans and peas look like they want to be planted. Hi Ken I enjoy all of your videos, please look in to the installation of the shower drain. I’ve always installed the rubber washer under the shower pan followed with phenolic washer then the nut, and use plumbers putty or silicone under the lip on the top side of the drain. Check to see if the black washer is keeping the drain high on the top side preventing all the water to drain from the pan.

Hello Ken, unfortunately the weight comes almost on its own as you get older and it's damn difficult to get rid of it again. For example, I have gotten into the habit of baking my own bread and, unlike you Americans, I bake with 50% rye flour, which is much healthier and there is no sugar in it compared to ready-made bread. I also avoided as many foods as possible that had sugar in them. And it helps. Greetings from Berlin

Ken, not trying to be a wise guy but the drill should of came with a handle the screws in the side to hold on too while drilling. It does help with stabilizing the drill while drilling.
I found that a 6 inch foam paint pad works great for polyurethane on these pine boards. Holds a lot of material and no brush marks. Only cost about 3 dollars at Lowes. It was a big time saver for putting polyurethane on 1500 linear feet of tongue and groove for my camp.
Ken, I’m so sorry but I think the guy at the building place told you wrong about placement of the rubber gasket sealer that needs to go on the bottom and the piece of paper is what reduces the friction on the rubber seal.

Brand new.... "Brand name" and "new" as in not previously used. At least that's the definition I recollect. In the days of yesteryear there were many products that were not branded. Especially those items that were made by the user instead of purchased. There is an expense involved when placing a brand upon something. It can be used as a bragging term and as a derogatory statement. I remember you stating your father was a painter. Do you recall if he ever made his own paint brushes???

@ 20:01 and I think the compost toiler requires a dedicated vent that uses a fan similar to a computer fan to create out pressure to keep smells down
