Good morning, Ken! What I like even more than the way this wagon is turning out, is your excitement and enthusiasm for this build! You're truly a blast to watch. Thanks so much for sharing another great video, Brother. Aces on restructuring the deck.👍 Have a great day! God bless.
Good morning Ken and Kaiya and all of the subscribers!!! The new added decor to the vardo definitely adds to the character for sure! It's looking CUTE!!!❤
Amazing results !!!!! That's going to turn out fantastic , can't wait to see the end results !!!!! Thanks for bringing us along Ken , just love it !!!!! 😊🙏👍❤
A horseshoe shaped window next to the door would be great. With a little flower box on it. Also a rounded top door with a round window would be great too, but would likely need to be handmade.
I like the way that you were able to use a paint can to make your template for the Vargo. I do appreciate your skills as you are building it. Have a good day.
You done good Ken!!!🎉 I’ve gotten more giggles out of your video today. From your squirrel moment talking about the Brits to your shingles joke which I’m very glad you stopped at two! To that beautiful gingerbread on the front of that Vargo wagon, absolutely beautiful. You are a true artist, Ken!
Good morning Ken. Love hearing you quote the Lords encouragement. Zephaniah is such an encouraging quote. Your story about you and your brother made me smile. Glad you decided on only two bundles to carry. My old injuries like to remind me that they haven’t forgotten how to hurt. I’m glad you got that rubber roofing up without injury. I hope. I worry sometimes about you all by yourself out there. I have to do things by myself all the time. But I have good friends willing to help me when I need them. Love the new deck. Looks great! Can’t wait for the reveal on the colors from Lauren and your wife. I just went to England and Scotland with my daughter Lauren. We had such an awesome time!! I love the accents too. Have a blessed rest of your day. I’m in California, my cat woke me up early at 4. 😶. Thanks for a good video.

Good afternoon from Southern Arizona. I have several channels that I watch on a daily basis. Some of them are farming and homesteading and some are DIY home projects. But I need to tell you can, I don’t think I could go more than three days without seeing one of your videos. The interaction you have with the pup and a little side, and stories that you tell as you go through your projects are so enjoyable. I have actually incorporated a couple of your ideas in a few little projects here at my place. I can’t do anything extensive, being 78 years old and living by myself, but taking things a little bit at a time, I’m able to accomplish quite a bit. Happy thoughts and God’s blessings to you and your family. Stay safe, but have fun too.❤
Another awesome video Ken, you are such an inspiration to so many of us! It was lovely hearing you quote from God’s word. Take care of your self lugging that roofing material around. The Vardo is certainly coming together very nicely, it is going so full of character. God bless you. 😊🇬🇧 I’m one of your English supporters - from over the pond!! 😊
Awesome work, Ken! You are capturing the true essence, charm and character of the Vardo😊. The left over pattern resembles a saw blade or better yet the soft glow of the sun. Maybe you could incorporate that piece into the design for artistic appeal. Thanks for sharing and God Bless😁
Hello Ken, lookin really good, it was amazing that your paint can came out perfectly with the scallops. wonderful work. Blessings to you and yours Ken.
I drove to Florida from Texas to help my parents install a rubber roof on a mobile home, boy that roofing is very heavy!! We also had gotten the materials from ABC . Kinda hard to find , their stores are few and far between. Good job.
Love the video and your workmanship on the wagon is so awesome. Please take care of yourself your breathing is labored. So amazing the ideas you have, your family must be so proud of you.
Ken, we love watching your video's. They're inspiring and pure fun. Can't wait for colors. Lose the belly or lose the ability to climb ladders. Your knees will give out. 👍👍👍
That was sure frustrating tracking down the adhesive. . . . Rubber roofing is used in the RV industry. . . . The scalping is creative. The "gypsy wagon" is coming together nicely.
Weird, they will sell the rubber for the rubber roofing but they won't sell or tell you what to use to glue it down. I love how you redid the flip-up deck. Rubber is soooo heavy! I bought a rubber mat for my animal's stall and it was super heavy. I almost had a heart attack trying to move it out in the Spring to get washed. Ugh! It looks nice up there. So great, you're dried in and it'll relax and get even better while it lays there. It's nice that you were able to use a piece of the leftover Lauan to scribe the roof profile onto it. Now you can design your gable end on the overhang for the roof. So you traced your facia at 4 inches. I wouldn't mind a little character! Scalloping! That is super cute Ken! Yet another delightful video about the Vargo trailer build! Thanks Ken!
Good afternoon Men! I love your story about you trying to out do your brother carrying bundles of shingles on the roof! Can’t let your brother out do you!

I imagine not much talk about the adhesive so they don't get sued. Possibly different adhesive depends on the surface you are gluing to, proper preparation, possibly coustic/toxic properties, etc. When I did the roofs of GM factories, we used TroCal, rubber membrance. We fastened down the edge flashing, and used the same solvent for TroCal to flashing. We used rocks to hold the rubber sheets down. No adhesives to the surface below.
Ken, if you had an rv dealer near you, you could see what they use because some rv’s use the same roofing. You do understand, all the really good glue has been banned by the EPA, and I am guessing part of the problem you are having. I know they have come a long way, but I doubt any latex products will hold a candle to the old stuff that would get you high just opening the can, (like the old, stinky contact cement). I love the earth and surely want to be a good steward, but we have to find a balance it seems. Best wishes on your project. Question; did you ever think about coating it with bed liner? That way you’d be lifting a gallon of coating and a brush, lol. There’s a guy named Dave, channel is Endgame, he builds truck campers from scratch, coats them with bed liner and they’re beautiful.
Ken, we should have bought stock in Georgia Pacific growing up in carpentry. Remember the days when 1/2” plywood was $4, lol. My shingles were $17 a square in 1988 when I built my house, ugh on inflation, lol

Love your creativity and workmanship! Great rebuild on the deck. Just a little curious about why the vardo is facing forward on the trailer (unlike the tiny house). Won't the roof overhang catch wind (resistance) traveling down the road? Keep the great videos coming!
Thanks. I put it on the front to utilize that area more plus that’s how the old gypsy wagons were. The front porch should be fine as far as wind is concerned.

That would be cool!

you do have a catchy saying - "per per perfect"
😂😂😂
I agree with some of the other commenters.
Legal issues and the day in which we live I think contribute to the lack of detailed information about adhesive and how it works and everything.
I have noticed that even on cans of other materials the directions are hazy so as to not get cornered by any claim that they may make on a can .
I'm glad you found a supplier and I hope it works well for you.
Thanks
That was fun!!! Creative and functional. Love the beginning of the rubber roof extravaganza too!! If you can, it would be helpful to know the brand info details on the roofing materials. Great job
