Looks like it is possible to grow up big and strong on a vegetarian diet. These majestic animals are a national treasure.
BTW: The black-billed magpie shown at the very beginning is a beautiful bird.

About 5 years ago I visited Custer State Park. Gorgeous! But there were a lot of stupid tourist who stop to take up close selfies with the bison as they wander onto the roadways. A few tourists get trampled and gored each year.

And the backgrounds not bad either...

@K. Webster • It’s funny (or not) how a very short space of time can seem soooooo long when you NEED to go (if you get my drift) but you don’t want to miss this segment. Oooooh boy😅
I remember a story done a couple years ago, where they were talking about Slow TV in either Norway or Sweden. Slow TV’s producers got to see a couple seconds of a moment of nature, and said that it needs to be longer.
I Amon a trip to visit national parks around the country. Excited to see these beautiful animals outside of a fence

I was just there last year it's such a Magnificent park. A beautiful video. I like saying the red dog but I really enjoyed hearing the meadowlarks the background.
There's a video of wolves chasing bison. The mother evades only to run over her young, knocking it to the snow-covered ground for the wolves to get. "Battleships confide in me come tell me where you are."
My favorite wild animal!
And to think a mere 140 to 150 years ago the prairies of the Great Plains were blackened by them as the numbered in the hundreds of thousands.

I love this segmant, & where u take us next in NATURE👍🤗 looking accross the the hills & imagining what it was like for Native Americans to be among the millions that roamed,, before they were SLAUGHTERED to near EXTICTION😣😤,, man , that had to be a spiritual& scary scene all rolled in to one -- those little " redogs"" are so beautiful, just so cute 🐂--- thanks 👏😊

Why do we have a national Park named after Custer? That needs to be changed.
It's a state park and there's not a damn thing wrong with naming it after George Armstrong Custer. The city and county are named for him as well.
The only good part of the Black Hills left...no roads, no motorcycles, no 4 wheelers contaminating the sounds and grounds. Such a pity.
