Aston Villa fucked over Arsenal in two ways actually:
    1. By beating them 0-2 and removing their fate from being in their hands
    2. By being far enough ahead of Spurs to where Spurs can’t finish 4th but will guaranteed finish 5th, removing all incentive for Spurs to win the match against City.
If there’s no incentive to win the match (and even worse, winning the match hands the title to Arsenal), then Spurs will most likely intentionally bottle the match. FFS, all we need is a draw. Just draw the game, that’s all we need. Don’t let City get 4 straight

Rather than test your players against the best team in the league, get them that belief of competing with them, experience of the big games vs them with meaning, fighting for a place in champions League, getting that extra money to further the club, the fans and club would RATHER LOSE JUST SO A RIVAL DOESN'T WIN! Just fully take in and absorb what that means. It's ridiculous that these type of fixtures are allowed to be near the end of the season.. it is obvious to everyone that City, Arsenal, Liverpool are all going ro be near the top, so none of their big rivals, such as Spurs Everton, United should be this close to the end of fixtures.. it can be scheduled differently, and as it is, is open to nothing short of cheating. SPURS will almost certainly have "injuries/mystery illness" on Tuesday to almost guarantee they can't beat City.. If Spurs CAN win, they will go for it. I am not british at all but if you can humble City and spoil their run, especially now with everything at stake, I think the rivalry witrh Arsenal will take a back seat. I am voting with my heart here. It would be so cool if The Gunners, the mighty gunners!, take the league. I THINK Spurs are on that page too. Not sure why I am saying that but I AM hoping for some serious Spurs magic. There IS something magical about Spurs. They always look clean cut, efficient, effective and marvellous when it counts. They are like one of those teams that just delivers the results without too much fanfare. I have loved watching them(being a chelsea fan) in their most recent golden age. I think that vibe is still there. But it looks like they have to find a higher gear and stick to a great game plan. That reminds me, I think Spurs ethos could be about discipline. Kane was the killer punch and so was Son, but it always looked like they were doing it for Spurs. And so they should. Spurs has a legacy. I STILL feel City is only beginning to establish that team vibe, legacy, tradition and heritage. Its an interesting one. I really want Spurs to hit City. Lets see what their core is about.

In fairness that doesn't mean the players or manager want to lose.
However, a draw or a Spurs win puts the title in Arsenal's control....all they will have to do is equal or better City's last day result.
A win for City against Spurs leaves the title in City's hands.
The question is over the credibility of a win for City against Spurs. If Spurs play their best and lose, that's fair enough. However, if Spurs don't try then that shows games (this game or any other) could be thrown by a team. If that happens even once, it brings into question the credibility of any league, which already has some dark clouds.
That's not an unreasonable question when you take in to account historic events, such as Grobler, Juventus, etc... That's exactly why player betting is not allowed.

This is idiocy, there's no reason that Spurs would intentionally lose to City to prevent Arsenal from winning the title -- no reason at all! Quite the contrary, it would be great for Spurs to take it to City and beat them as a way to partially redeem the season and set us up for next season. In addition, Spurs have had a pretty decent record against City, perhaps better than anyone, and we should make every effort to win tomorrow. A couple seasons back, City won the title having lost only 3 matches all season -- two of those loses came from Spurs so it is possible. Arsenal have two ways to win the title and both of them depend on Spurs. If we beat City and Arsenal win their last match then the Gunners are the EPL champs, but even with a draw between City and Spurs, Arsenal can still win it on GD. I've been saying since early this year that Arsenal's ruthlessness where they were beating teams 4-1 helped pad their GD and without that ruthlessness they might be behind City in GD leaving only a victory by Spurs as the avenue for Arsenal to win. That GD advantage is now 3, but City have a game in hand so expect City to try to rack up as many goals as they can in the two remaining matches they have in order to give them the GD advantage.

What particularly struck me was how they played from the beginning of this year (January ish) where they didn't simply beat their opponents, they obliterated them leaving no doubt who the winner was. And, during this period they were beating teams not by a goal or two but by three or four -- racking up GD during that period is serving them really well as they have 3 point GD over City so if it comes to a tie the Gunners win on GD.

Because Manchester united win or lose does not contribute to stopping or helping city because they are ahead of Arsenal on points it's Arsenal looking for Mancity to drop points

Spurs fans has no spine, if they want too lose against City. 👊 what if, in a different scenario. That Arsenal has to win. So Spurs could win the Premier league in the future 🤷‍♂️ 🤣

Then Arsenal would be hoping they get thrashed but pretending they didn't say all things they're saying now

ESPN FC is trying to taint a legitimate City title if they win out last 2 games. We City supporters know who you support. City don't need helping hand from oppo teams to win.
