- This is the story of one man who survived ‘six hours in hell’ and rescued his comrades against overwhelming forces in the Vietnam War.
As President Reagan said: "If the story of his heroism were a movie script, you would not believe it".
Master Sergeant Raul Perez "Roy" Benavidez aka 'Tango Mike Mike'

Thanks for posting this amazing video on my dad. I think it's important for our youth to have videos like this that they can relate to. My father dedicated his life to speaking to our youth, our future leaders of America. This is a video for all ages to enjoy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. -Yvette Benavidez Garcia, Roy's daughter and author of the children's book, "Tango Mike Mike: The Story of Roy P. Benavidez."

I met him when I was young, my Mom, my older brother, and I were at WOMAC hospital on Fort Bragg, I have forgotten why we were there, but my mom could only carry one of us. That man is a true hero and I'm proud to have met him along with the other heroes I've met in my childhood. The world needs more heroes like him.
