  • The United Kingdom will hold its first election in five years on Jul 4. After 14 years under the governing Conservative Party, people are looking for a change, says political commentator Mohammed Hussein. The president of Edelman Global Advisory United Kingdom tells CNA’s Asia First that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made the call for election on the back of better economic news recently, in terms of low inflation and more growth, and given that it is unlikely that the situation will improve further.

    - freedom of speech,
    - transparency, and
