June 1967 and I am standing on line at the draft sign up building in Brooklyn, NY . 18 years old with two children already and I still wanted to serve my country regardless of the outcome. Unfortunately they would not accept me because of my children. I am haunted to this day and when I hear this song it brings back memories.
You tried but your family was more important nothing to regret I went so your family could grow up in a free country I came home to many of my brothers and sisters didn't pray for them and all who served and are serving now God bless you and your family ❤❤❤❤❤❤
